The roofing job was done quickly and the workmanshiip was good. However, they backed a large shingle delivery truck into my yard after we had experience a lot of rain. This left two large ruts in my yard from the trailer. My Tucker said he would take of it. Asked me to get quotes to repair the yard which I did. Cost was $450. Since busines was going down then (it was the being of the financial crisis) he wanted to pay me on a monthly basis for the repairs. I said OK. He has never paid a dime despite semi-annual calls to him and a repeated promise from him to pay something. This whole thing could have been avoided if I would have withheld final payment to him until it was fixed.

I have 2 types of roof on my home, a flat roof that had just been completed 5 days prior and in the process a large number of shingles were removed from the pitched roof and not properly replaced causing a very severe leak and $10,000 of damage. I had an emergency and Mr. Tucker came over within 24 hours and provided me an estimate of $6400.00 that was right in line with 2 other estimates. He presented me a contract on the spot that was very detailed including the cost per linear foot of each replacement item that might be discovered to be damaged once the original shingles were removed. Due to weather, work was started and completed in sections in 3 1/2 days. His crew was very professional, obviously experienced and it was a pleasure to watch their work. They worked so well together, it was almost like a choreographed dance. I was particularly concerned about the flashing around the 15 foot wide chimney of old and soft Charleston brick, but it looks better than the original. Clean up was done promptly and in the month since the installation, I have found no stray nails in the yard or gravel driveway, no leaks and many compliments from my neighbors and friends on the pretty new roof. Mr. Tucker's prompt and professional work has saved me untold water damage from a poor tie in of the new flat rubber roof and I can highly recommend him. He was even helpful in getting me shingles that qualified as energy saving for a tax deduction.
