The owner completed the estimate and told me he would be physically involved with completing the work as I had requested.  I did not want the good referral I had received from a friend on HIM to be wasted on a subcontractor.  Owner was a no show and had to reply on his two subs.  Was happy with the work they did on the door and window, although the price was a bit high in retrospect as I supplied the materials and they the labor. But that's not the problem.  It's when they went to replace the exterior cedar siding.  They said they had cedar boards in the truck, and I trusted that they were a match.  I had to leave to run my child to an appointment.  When I returned the guys said the job was completed, however it was getting dark.  The next morning I could see the following issues.  The cedar boards were not sanded or they chose not to apply the smooth side out.  The chalk job was terrible, and the boards were not cut precisely to fit…used a straight cut verses the 45 degree cut.  Guy that did the siding work said he would return to fix……never happened.
I shouldn't have waited so long to give my review.

Did a fine job, on time, cleaned up after, and  was overall good enough I kept his card and hope to hire again in the near future.

I have had a couple of different dealings with them. Everything was pretty professional. They arrived when they said that they would and got everything taken care of. I have not had any leak since. I dealt with a guy named Angelo who I guess is the owner of the company and he was pretty professional. I had gotten a couple of quotes and their pricing was average.

This company is very professional and pays close attention to detail.  They removed the old carpet and padding. The old padding was so old...it had started to meld into the hardwood floors.  They scrapped the floors well to remove the old padding and replaced it with a medium width padding and stainmaster carpet (which we purchased from Lowes).  The carpet was laid very well and looks very smooth.  This company moved a huge temperpedic sleigh bed for us and .....when another carpet installer said they would not move the sleigh bed.  TANDAN CONSTRUCTION  went the extra mile to move all of the requested items back and even other items that were not on the required list.  They are polite, prompt and VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO.   I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!  If you need carpet installed...THIS IS THE COMPANY: TANDAN CONSTRUCTION.  Thank you for an exceptionally fantastic job on our carpet!!!!!

I recently bought a house and needed someone to do odd jobs. I originally went to Lowe's to get a new kitchen countertop. I wanted to replace the one that came with the house.They referred me to Angelo. He stopped by the house and we spoke about all the things I wanted to change. He wasn't able to help me with the formica countertop (he works with solid surface material), but he did so much more. He basically fixed anything that I wanted changed. It was a real pleasure to work with Angelo and his crew. They were very professional, honest (which is not something you find with contractors), always on-time, and cleaned up thoroughly after finishing their work. To me, the true value of a person's work is if I would hire them again, and I definitely would.

Their work was top quality. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect job was that Tadam called to say they would be there at 8:30.  They still weren't there by 10:00,  So I called Lowes to see where they were.  The person at Lowes said that they weren't even scheduled to pick up the carpet until 10:30.  And they were at my house by 10:45.  So that very minor mis-communication was the only negative in what was a very positive experience for me.

With my father being ill during this time, I anticipated problems. Amazingly, things went very smoothly. They did a good job and did so very quickly. They installed an additional electrical outlet as well as moving one above the countertop. I think Angelo and his crew did an excellent job from the removal to completion. I anticipated problems and instead, things went very smoothly. I would recommend Angelo and Tadan Construction to my friends and would use them again myself.
