Swirl Dog Grooming LLC

brought my dog to Swirl for the first time. I was told the price was going to be $43. After 5 1/2 hours of waiting to be called to let me know my dog was ready I decided to call to see if they could give me an estimate of when I could pick her up. I was told that she would be ready in 15 minutes, but there was an up charge of $15 because my dog was aggressive. ( my dog has been groomed for the past year and a half and I have never had an issue. My old groomer was always so complimentary on how well behaved and sweet my dog was) when I did pick my dog up I was told many times how bad and aggressive my dog was and that my old groomer was lying to me about my dog being well behaved. If the groomer was having an issue I should have been notified before she continued the service and added an up charge. So very disappointed.

Poorly. Have been 3 times and they never had anything positive to say about my dogs. They do not use cages for their dogs so all the dogs are running around. I have been told my dogs are misbehaved there but I believe it's because it is total confusion I've never had this problem with any place that we have taken my dogs to be groomed before. I just took them to a new place and they did nothing but rave about how well behaved they were except that when you separate them they do have some anxiety.

Melva and Rachel we absolutely awesome.  They know their stuff and my babies - well, I couldn't say enough about them.  Melva was very professional, knows about nutrition for the puppies and my babies loved her.  And the cut was the very best.  I've been looking for a good groomer for my boys since moving to Summerville a year ago.  My babies have gotten some really bad haircuts and they didn't seem like very happy campers.  But when I went to pick them up yesterday from Swirl Dog Grooming, they were two very happy little guys.  You could tell immediately they had been pampered and loved the whole time they were there.  I couldn't believe how happy they were.  I will definitely be taking my babies back to Melva.   To say the least I was very impressed and so were my boys.  I've not seen them this happy since leaving their groomer in South Georgia.  

She's really good. The cost is different for different-sized dogs. It also depends on how much hair the dog has. She's very personable and nice. She handles dogs really well. She comes in to get them and they go in. They're relaxed and comfortable there. She does a good job. Their price is a little bit less than my previous groomer.

Melva is patient and easy going. She understands and loves dogs. Our little one gets so excited when we arrive in the driveway and is not timid to go in at all. When we return to pick her up she is happy and playing.

Not only did she do a good job with the grooming, she offered some excellent nutritional advice regarding Phoebe's diet as well as some helpful training tips. We have already made another appointment.

My girl came out looking like a princess. She has sensitive skin though and I've sinced noticed she has razor burn on her neck and snout.
Otherwise, the provider was very caring and patient with my dog.

Because the girls were severely matted and required a great deal more grooming than would ordinarily be the case, the cost for this grooming was considerably more than it would have otherwise been. Pleased with the results, we have already made an appointment for them to be groomed again approximately every six weeks. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the service she provided, will continue to use her for as long as we have our little girls with us, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer. It's been just over twenty-four hours since we have gotten the girls groomed. I went to the pet store that Melva recommended to us and bought for them some no-grain food. The girls have never eaten new food so fast in their lives. They are dressed for the season and are already feeling so much better. Upon returning home from shopping earlier today, I called Melva to tell her that I had bought the girls new food from the pet supply store that she recommended in Summerville. I had a few further questions for some recommendations on feeding the girls organic yogurt, whole eggs, etc. She stated that she will always be available to answer any questions that I may have and to call her anytime.

I chose her because of her real good reviews on Angie's List. It had been a while since I had them cut and their hair was long. Mel was really good. My dogs and I both liked her. My dogs felt comfortable and right at home with her. She provided me with some tips for caring for their teeth in between visits. I have already scheduled another appointment in October with her.

I was so pleased to finally find a groomer like Melva, she is the best ever. From the first minute, (Nemo), was excited and happy to be there. The salon is very clean and smells so nice, the music is so calming, and vey pleased with the cut.
Hope to have a long relationship with Melva.

I have been to a few groomers in Summerville and they just have not done a good job on my shih tzu. Melva at Swirl Grooming did a great job. I wanted my dog cut in a puppy cut and Melva said she had to scissor cut him because you could not get that look with a razor. Everywhere else they tried to shave him and that's not a "puppy cut". He turned out looking adorable and did not have to be locked up in a cage all day. I am happy i finally found someone who actually knows how to cut a dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone with a shih tzu or any dog for that matter.

She provides prompt service. The facilities are excellent. She has excellent communication skills. She is very good and we will continue to use her services in the future.
