Sp Plumbing

The provider was hired by the HWA company to come fix a leaky faucet. When he arrived, he went to work. About an 30 minutes later he calls me upstairs to see what is going on. He has completely taken apart the stems and valves in the wall, and says it was an improper install. I have a very basic knowledge of handyman work, and something seemed wrong about this. (I came to find out that HWA won't cover something if it is reported as an improper install...). He told me it was no longer covered by the HWA and he would not do anymore work unless I could pay him out of pocket 600. I let him leave and called another plumbing company to check it out (who is rated Gold star on Angies List.) When they arrived they said his negligence turned a 35 fix into a 600 replumbing job. When I called him and let him know about this he screamed at me and told me how professional he was and that he was insured and licensed. I did also call to get a 3rd opinion (another A+ company on Angies List) and they confirmed what the prior company said about Omar. It is apparent that Omar does not know what he is doing and will cost you ALOT of money. The worst part is he left the house with the bathroom in shambles, trash everywhere, the tub ripped apart, and the water turned off on the street. He did not even cap the pipes to turn the water on to the rest of the house. This is NOT the guy you want to use for plumbing, or anything.
