The workers were very friendly and even took care of the dogs in my backyard. They seemed to be good at the big picture items but the little details they omitted, such as which way to put the joints on the fascia. Quality of the work is a time will tell thing. However, there was no communication from the office or the project manager. After I returned the estimate, I was told a project manager would contact me. That did not happen. The first day workers showed up and they didn't seem to understand what they were supposed to do. I am a shift worker so luckily was off that day and when the project manager showed up was able to get them started. After a week off because i was on night shift, they were supposed to come back on Monday. It rained so i assumed no one would come but no phone call. the roof was scheduled to be replaced tuesday but the only ones who showed up were soffit/fascia workers. they informed me that the roof wouldn't be done until wednesday. No problems since it was an off day for me but a call from the project manager would have helped. The rest of the project was finished on friday while i was working night shift. I am not sure what time the workers left friday but the bill came at 3:15 friday. Before 8am Monday morning the project manager called to schedule a time for payment. The overall job looks great but no communication would make me try someone else next time. However the non roof workers were great taking care of my dogs in the yard from what i can tell. They even watched out for them when the roof was being done.

At first I was impressed with this company, but soon found out I had made a huge mistake. There is lack of communication, disrespect form the supervisor, and general poor management. The work crew seemed to know what they were doing, but would just climb onto our roof and start banging with no announcement and leave the same way. In my opinion, this is not the way to run a company. If I had known what I know now, An other company would have replaced my roof. Also, the supervisor ordered the wrong grade of roofing sheets and nails form what I ordered and tried to get away with it. Disappointing!

If I would have known what I know now, I wouldn't have hired them. (Also note, they also go by Prince Roofing & Construction)

We had several contractors bid on a remodeling project for a older home that we'd purchased. We selected Prince's bid because it was in the middle in terms of price, but they seemed very knowledgeable. Because of the type of home loan we had, Prince outlined a specific timeline for the project and there were financial penalties for extending beyond the contracted completion date. There were several issues that we felt were not adequately resolved, although, Prince made some accommodating adjustments to pricing and there were many issues that were adequately resolved. 1- Project was not completed according to timeline, which caused problems with the strict requirements of the loan. This timeline was set by Prince, not the loan, but had to be adhered to. Our impression was that staff and attention were divided among multiple projects and they weren't able to put the man power forward to get our job done. 2- Poor attention to detail and shortcuts..... for example, when garbage disposal was installed in sink, joints in the plumbing under the sink were just taped together so that they leaked. Bathroom ventilation when installed was vented into attic space (this was later fixed at our request). Did not replace floor molding after floors were refinished. Plumbing in ceiling was sheet-rocked over when problem was half fixed, so we later had to tear back out the ceiling and properly address the plumbing issues. 3- We'd requested a specific type of flooring be used when carpets were removed, and located the vendor. Flooring was not ordered in time so we had to settle for a replacement for the sake of time. 4- Lack of coordination between vendors...... Many items had to be re-done because of lack of coordination between the different vendors by the contractor. For example, sheet rock replaced only to be ripped out again to install the AC unit. Also lack of coordination with the city inspectors. Once the gas lines were installed, breakdown in communication with the city so that it could be inspected and the gas turned on. We had to manage this process ourselves so that we could have the gas turned on. That didn't occur until several weeks after we had moved into the house in the middle of the winter with no hot water or a stove to use. I think that this was the most frustrating because we were almost finished with the project but just couldn't close the deal. 5- HVAC unit has never worked properly. We're working with a different AC contractor now on warranty replacement parts but are still having to pay for labor.

initially i thought they had done a good job, but i noticed the tile work that they replaced was uneven and didn't look as nice as it did prior to their work, they did not do all the things agreed upon that they would do and they left a big mess under our house. To be fair once i complained about it they had someone take care of it. They did not replace the wood under the bathroom like they said they would. I was told that I would be taken care of as far as the work that they did, if there were any problems they would handle it. Right away i noticed cracks in the cauking and some area's where the cauking wasn't even done. when i called about it, the owner came and took a look and told us that we would have to pay to get wood supports under the house so that the floor would stop cracking and tiles getting cracks and that it would cost 400 dollars which angered me as they had just told me they would be responsible for their work. 400 dollars for supports really??? they overcharge big time and i do not feel confident that they stand behind their work. where is the integrity these days? don't companies want repeat business anymore? my favorite part is when they acted as if i was just being an annoying witch and what was my problem.
