We took our Dodge Caravan to Kenny for some repairs.  We told him what was wrong and when we needed it back.  Our repairs were done professionally and correctly and we received excellent customer service.  The cost of service was very reasonable.

They fixed the check engine light problem and found the leaking coolant hose.  Had to leave the car overnight for parts.  Car was fixed promptly the next day and has worked fine since.

Awesome experience with Morrison Automotive. I am a person who repairs my vehicles myself when I have the time and tools to do so. So when my 2007 Silverado 6.6L Diesel had a lot of electrical problems and I didn't have the computer to program the new modules Morrison was the only shop in the Charleston, SC area that I found that would program the ABS module and Airbag module that I ordered online and brought to them.

Electrical Problem Synopsis:

I had an ABS light, Emergency Brake light, Service Trailer Braking System message, Service Airbag System message, Check Engine Light, and my DIC port for scan tools had no power.

I was personally able to get the Check Engine Light to go off by replacing all my bad Glow plugs which I new 3 were bad from testing with a Multimeter. I found a bad fuse that was causing the no power to the DIC port. (Not before accidently pulling one of the two Airbag fuses that set the code for servicing the air bag system because of low voltage detected) I was told when I got new tires a couple of months earlier that I needed a new wheel bearing on the driver side because they could not get it to align very easy and that the hub had some of play. Figuring this was why my ABS system lights were on because of a wheel speed sensor error which I have seen a previous vehicles in the past as well and the truck was due for new Upper, Lower ball joints, Outer tie rods, I replaced all of them myself as well as the Wheel bearing hub assemblies. This did not fix ABS so I tried scanning with a Scan tool for ABS now that my DIC port was working and had a failure to communicate with ABS module error. I then had to take it to the Dealer (I hate going to the overpriced dealer) for a diagnosis. The dealer took 7 hours to diagnose a bad ABS module and bad Airbag module (Airbag module was my fault). They quoted me $498 for ABS and $710 for the Airbag module. I saved $900 by ordering an ABS module online and having my Airbag module reset by Myairbags.com and then taking them to Morrison to program the modules back to the Body Control Module on my truck by their Tech 2 computer. Had a slight hiccup while programming the Airbag module which Morrison was able to troubleshoot and find a male and female wiring connection not connected at the firewall/bulkhead which was causing the module to not program. I believe this was done by the Chevy dealer when I originally took it to them to troubleshoot my electrical problems (I don't believe it was done purposely). Morrison said everything was good to go and I then drove the vehicle home and a mile from my house the ABS and Emergency brake light came on again with the monitor trailer braking service message error on the DIC as well. Talked to Kenny Morrison and brought it back in they scanned and found a the front right and left wheel speed sensor errors. Kenny Morrison did some research and found that the 2007 Chevys' made an Old and New body style during the same year. Depending on the body style the newer ones take the Hall Effect type wheel sensor and the older body style takes the older AC version wheel speed sensor. So I then went to O'reilly's and found that they did indeed give me the wrong Hub assemblies with the old style wheel speed sensors in them. Once O'reilly's swapped that Hub assemblies and ate the price difference in the newer ones ($140 more per hub) all the truck problems are fixed!! I would have never found the wheel speed sensor problem had it not been for Morrison taking the extra time to research my Model history of the truck. I have no problem taking my vehicles back to him should I not be able to fix the problem myself.

I purchased a used vehicle from a dealer. I knew there were issues and wanted to get a better understanding of what all they were. I went to Morrisons because I have always had good service and the price has ALWAYS been reasonable. The appointment was for an oil and filter change and requested they look over the used car for safety, etc. Kenny and David looked at everything: brakes, hoses, belts, lights, tires, signs of fluid leaks, engine diagnostics, etc etc. Not only did they look the vehicle over, they had a list of issues, reviewed each with me, and made suggestions as to importance of repair and safety of the vehicle. I ended up with lube and oil change (top of the line Royal Purple synthetic oil and top of the line Wix filter ) , fan belt, and a wealth of knowledge on condition of my vehicle for a very reasonable price. I elected to have a couple of other repairs done later that same week.
You can get a lube and oil change change at WalllMart for less money. You can go to Oil Change specialty places and get lots of services for AC, Belts, Tires, Coolant, etc. BUT, you only get Certified Technicians, Neighborly hospitality, and and quot;I want you as my customer for lifeand quot; service at Morrisons. They even helped me with a ride a couple of times. Try to get that from Jiffy Pop.

My battery kept dying and we couldn't figure out why. Had taken my car elsewhere and they couldn't figure it out. Morrison Automotive was able to figure out why the battery was dying and fixed it within 24 hours. Excellent service, very professional!

It was a great experience! My car shook uncontrollably when reaching speeds of 45 - 50. Thinking a rotation of the tires would solve the problem, Morrison's discovered that there was corrosive rust forming around the aluminum where the tires sit which effected the rotation. After they cleaned the area, the tires were rotated and the problem was solved. No more shaking! The owner explained to me what caused the problem. They are very professional and know how to diagnose a problem. This is my second visit and I will be a returning customer!!

Everyone here was very nice. I called and they got me in the next day. I needed a diagnostics and oil change on my 2008 Jeep. On the phone they said the diagnostics would run from $50 to $100. I was charged $100 for diagnostic and $34.60 for the oil change. With tax, the total came to $141.78. They said I would need to replace my alternator, tensioner, idler pulleys and belt, and left front control arm. They gave me an estimate of $1331.00 for parts and labor. I'm still looking around for better prices. I recommend if you need a diagnostic to find some place cheaper. I called Automotive Perfection on Cross County Road, and they said that they only charge $30 for a diagnostics no matter what. I told them what I needed and they quoted me at $756 to replace all the aforementioned. I never told them what Morrison Auto quoted or charged me. I have an appointment with them on Tuesday.

I called Christmas eve and made an appointment for the day after Christmas. When I arrived they took my truck in immediately, told me the problem and gave me an estimate of how long it would take and how much it would cost. They were very close to the time estimate and exactly on the cost. They did exactly what I asked in the time they said they would. I will absolutely use this company again.

It went really well and was very easy and a pleasant experience. I called and scheduled my appointment which was faster than i thought. I explained to them i was traveling a good distance in a few days and they were very nice and the very nice lady that I spoke with when i first came in (I'm sorry i can't remember the name) said she would write down about the long travel. Mr. Morrison sat with me and explained what all they found that needed to be done and was very thorough and explained it really well. Since I needed 4 new tires it would be late that afternoon before it was ready so the nice young lady in the office (sorry about not remembering the name!) gave me a ride home and they called me when my vehicle was ready. Thanks Morrison Automotive for a great experience and for doing such a wonderful job on my car!

I usually do my own maintenance. But I ran into a problem above my level of expertise. I thought that perhaps my car was finally giving up the ghost. But the folks at Morrison's did a diagnostic test and found the problem. And now my baby is running great again.
