We love LPS! We work long hours, so we've been using them most weekdays for years now and they are reasonably priced, consistent, reliable and our dogs (3 big German Shepherds) love their sitters. We have frequent schedule changes and they are always gracious about adding or deleting visits on short notice. They have been great about adding extra visits or adjusting schedules when we have a sick pet who needs to go out more often. They've also gone above and beyond by giving our pets extra meals or medicines when we've needed that. We occasionally have extra dogs from family visits or fosters and LPS has been great with them too, at the same cost as our normal pack. They leave a written summary every day, including notes if they notice anything out of the ordinary that they think we should now about. They have a convenient online payment portal where we can use credit cards, and they occasionally post photos of the dogs from their visits, which are fun. They are great about making sure the dogs have water and that the house is locked when they leave. We don't have kids, so our dogs are our children. There are very few people we trust with their care, so we are tremendously grateful to have a reliable, caring service like LPS helping with their care.

They are fantastic! We have used LC Pet Sitters previously and they have always been so great to work with. Erin is very prompt with her responses and everyone that works there has been great with our dogs. We have 2 large dogs (60-70 lbs) and there has never been a problem.

My wife and I had recently moved to the area and had planned a week-long vacation to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and were looking for alternatives to boarding our dog, Libby, while we were away. We had boarded her once before, but were apprehensive to do it again for various reasons. We even thought about taking her with us. I had heard of pet sitting services but it didn't cross my mind until about a week before we were planning on leaving. I found Lowcountry Pet Sitters online and after doing some research, decided to give it a try. It turned out great!! Libby got to go outside a couple times a day and got food and water just like normal. A description of what was done every day was left on our kitchen table for us to review when we got home. The best part of it all in my opinion was the responsiveness of the pet sitter while we were gone. Multiple times we communicated via text to check in on how it was all going and got a prompt response every time. That really put our minds at ease while we were away. We will definitely use Lowcountry Pet Sitters again!

Very reliable and dogs were happy. My big dog experienced some anxiety over us leaving but, we are adjusting for it this time with more exercise. They are very accommodating with this and helpful.

My husband and I were taking our kids to Disney over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We had planned to take our two large dogs and one cat to Savannah, GA to stay at my husband's uncle's house for him to care for the animals while we were away. I was nervous, because he is admittedly NOT a pet person. I just didn't think they would do well - especially my cat. I decided to look for a pet sitter on Angie's List. I found Low Country Pet Sitters! I called Erin, and it although it was last minute, it was not a problem to hire a sitter. One of her sitters, Malori, came for a and quot;meet and greetand quot;, and my dogs immediately loved her. Usually they bark at anyone who comes to our house. They both went straight to her with tails wagging! And not a single bark! I truly believe that animals know who is trustworthy, and who is not. Anyway, Malori eased my fears about leaving. She was thorough about getting information on all of my pets - what they ate, when they ate, what they did during the day, etc. The price was very reasonable. $15 per visit (2x a day) plus a 10% holiday fee, which is fine by me. When we came home on Sunday, our mail was on the table, as well as the newspapers. Our pets were great. Even our cat wasn't mad we left (usually we get the silent treatment for a few days). There was a daily log on letting us know when Malori came. We were so pleased! I would recommend Low Country Pet Sitters to anyone who has to leave their pets behind. They are well cared for! I plan on using them again quite soon!

Can't say enough good things about Lowcountry Pet Sitters! Hands down, the best pet sitters in the area. We have 2 older cats and an older dog, all on various medications and odd schedules. LPS took the time to learn EXACTLY what our pets needed and more than delivered. Pets were happy and healthy when we returned, house was cleaner than when we left it (dishes in sink washed, rugs vacuumed, pet beds washed), and all of our mail and newspapers were stacked neatly waiting for us. We are SO thrilled that we've found good, honest, reliable, pet-loving people to come into our home and spend time with our pets while we're away. You won't regret becoming a client!
