My brother , a service member, flew in for a visit. He took our car there because we told him there was a very slow leak on 1 tire. After 2 1/2 hours, they told him all done, no charge. A week later, and each week since, we have to add air. Thanks for wasting his precious free time. I took it to a different shop and they showed me a bent nail that was in sidewall. How could they miss it? By not bothering to look.

We like them. We take my car there whenever there is a problem. They are really good. It was a high estimate. They've done my shocks and struts.

Shop was very busy, but all employees were professional and assisted customers with good humor and courtesy. Price quoted was what was charged. Never fun to pay for car repair, but Gerald's staff works hard to earn repeat business. Recommended.

I could not have been more impressed with this business!!  Every staff member I came into contact with was highly friendly and professional.  This place is BUSY, but it is because they are so good at what they do.  (It was also refreshing to see scripture on their digital business sign!)
The mechanic personally came to the waiting area and took me to the bay where my van was being serviced.  He showed me where my rack and pinion on my vehicle was leaking in two different places.  He did not pressure me to have the service done, but explained the pricing and time frame to me for having it repaired.   (I was not able to wait today to have the repair done, that is why I only had my oil changed.)
From start to finish this was a GREAT experience.  When I left, I even found a rose from the staff on my dash board as a thank you for choosing their business!  Wow!!
I will definitely be using this business again.

Some of their mechanics are nicer than others not to say that any are not nice. That mechanic was nice but he charged for every single thing he did including an alignment I was not told I was going to be charged for. That may be standard with new brakes, I don't know. But when I came back because steering was difficult, he fixed the issue. I compare this to another time I went with a different car, that mechanic didn't charge for diagnosis, or the alignment. He only charged for the "meat" of the work being done. Both instances cost about the same.

I was thinking I needed brakes everywhere because they were squeaking, but they checked and said I only needed front brakes with was about $200. I knew I needed tires and decided since I didn't need the rotors,etc the higher cost brake job, I could afford to purchase the tires I needed.
This is what I love about Gerald's Tires.They don't sell you something you don't need.
The labor was only about $125 and the rest was tires and brakes and oil. I feel like I got my moneys worth.

Excellent service from a professional and motivated staff! Very competitive pricing with free rotations and free tire fixes. I took my brand new Honda back to the dealer with a nail in the tire and was charged $23.00 to repair! I do not know how the management and work force maintains such an upbeat work environment but they need to share their secret (SC DMV can certainly use the advice). Great staff, great experience, they know how to create customer loyalty!
