Perfect. The job was started on time, completed on time, and for the estimated cost. Being a historic home 100+ years old there were multiple types on heartwood pine floors. Bobby and his team sanded to natural color, stained parts to match as close as possible and finished to match. The match is excellent. It is very hard to tell the difference. They also replace approximately six boards that were rotten due to water damage. Bobby suggested replacing the A/C vents with pine flush mounted vents. They are awesome. They blend in with the rest of the floors. I give my strongest possible recommendation to Charleston Treads.

We were not sure at first if the flooring in the master bedroom was going to match.  It just looked so yellow.  It was an addition built some time after the house was built and different pine flooring was used. But after the stain and finish it looked great.  The vents were an afterthought that Bobby recommended since the ac vents had to be replaced.  They were stained and finished to match the floor.  The rest of the house also looked great and my tenants tell me it is a lot easier to clean.  The floor took four days and they worked with the tenants to keep them in the house during the project.  I will call them for the next one.

Great experience! We bought an investment home we planned on using as a rental and needed new flooring.  We decided to have solid unfinished oak hardwood installed.  I was referred to Bobby with Charleston Treads from a friend who had him refinish her pine flooring.  I did get several estimates.  I was impressed with the thorough inspection during our first visit and decided  to go with  Charleston Treads.  His inspection revealed sub floor damage around the air duct vents in the floor.  Though not a costly repair it was good not to have a unexpected expense in the middle of the project.  Also on the estimate there was no mark up on the oak flooring or other materials, it detailed all charges and gave a timeline of completion .  During a second visit we looked at samples and signed a contract.  After the flooring was delivered they removed and hauled off the carpet and began the sub floor repairs.  He sent pictures of each repair and progress reports daily since we scheduled our vacation for this time.  We returned to a project complete!  The flooring looked better than I had expected.  I have had several flooring companies work on my rental properties over the years and these guys stand out.  I recommend this company and I currently have them working on another project.
