Carpet Shop

We need to re carpet 2 rooms that had water damage. We shopped around at the local carpet " wholesalers" and found our best deal settling for builders carpet priced at approx $750 after much looking and confusion. On the way to make that purchase we passed The Carpet Shop and decided to stop. 30 min later we had purchased carpet and had it installed 2 days later. The whole process was effortless with the help of a very nice lady. By the way cost was $650 for everything.

The Carpet Shop did not honor their products.  Was Rude and cussed me.
I would NEVER walk in their store again

They did a terrible job on the floors. The carpet job was fine. We have no problem with the carpets. Carpet Shop felt the floor looked good. They didn’t want to make any waves and they really didn’t stand behind the work or stand up for the customer. There is such a big difference between the carpet job and the hardwood floor job. The carpet was put in after the hardwood floors. I would give them a ‘D’ for my overall experience for both the hardwood floor and carpet job put together. We would not use them again in the future.

They removed the old carpet and disposed of it for us before installing the new carpet. They were not our best experience and we used them because they were very highly recommended. Everybody in town talked about how wonderful they were. The carpet itself is a wonderful carpet and we picked a good one, but it was a very difficult experience working with them. We had to get the installers to come out five times to get the work done they way we wanted. They left some work incomplete and we were not pleased with them. When we got the estimate and when we were making our selection we felt that the lady was a very nice lady, but she was pretty indifferent to the project we had going. We did not feel that she was very enthusiastic about helping us and she has been there for 30 years. Everybody spoke well of her, so maybe we just caught her on a bad day. The owner came out and did the estimate and he was wonderful. He was very professional and he asked a lot of questions and made sure he understood exactly what it was we wanted. Their prices were high.
