All Around The House

Work went well and completed in a professional and timely manner. Some touch up issues remained  from squaring frames and painting.

My house is typical of those in the Briarwood subdivision located off of Trolley Road in Summerville. These home were built around 1977 and are around 1600  to 2000 square feet. I had not had mine painted for longer than I would like to mention.  It was very much in need of some major painting and work. I wanted to hire a company from the area but my former painter (Rainbow Painting) was no longer available.  I had obtained one estimate from a Summerville painter prior to Contacting All Around The House for an estimate. All Around the House is owned by John Boggs. John approached me in a very professional manner and surveyed the exterior of the house with me while we chatted about what needed to be done.  I was very skeptical when he approached me with an estimate of $1950.00 considering it was well under current and previous estimates.  After calling his references, all we very positive so I elected to  to use John's company. They arrived as scheduled, removed all my storm windows, labeled and stored them in my garage, pressure washed the house and returned the next day and began working. John went to work right away on replacing wood work (window sills, about 20 feet of fascia and several feet of soffit). He works at a very brisk clip and it is was easy to see that he was both careful and exact in what he does.The crew of three worked the entire time they where here and took no lunch breaks. They were very fastidious about picking up, cleaning and replacing furnishings that they moved at the end of each day. All Around The House is a family operated business and they don't mind personalizing the business relationship with you if you want or have the time to do so. I learned that John worked for a painting company and a lawn care company for several years prior to forming his own business combining both services around 2003. His company services both residential and business customers and he provides other services as well. As painting progressed the quickly addressed any touch up concerns I had. When they finished painting the cleaned the house and storm windows prior to replacing the storms. This is the best paint job and painting service I have received since living in this house since 1987.
