His prices are reasonable and he solved the problem that other people had looked out and couldn't figure out how to solve. And he solved it almost immediately. The work was clean.

Prompt, courteous service. Arrived on time. Very knowledgeable, much previous experience. Prices fair, considering the quality of service he provided.

The was the second time we used Affordable Electric. This time, they replaced an exhaust fan in the master bath that had burned up the motor. My husband and a friend tried to replace it, but came to the conclusion that it would have to be replaced from the attic. Henry and his partner came out on time and had the job done in less than 30 minutes. Somehow, they managed to do it from the bottom! Now, they were supposed to be here the day before, but got delayed on another job. This, I understand; we all have times when a job takes longer than we think it will. They were on time for the re-schedule (early actually). They took off their boots at the door, and made sure the cats did not get out. When they were done, you could not tell they had been there, as there was no dust or dirt left behind.
The first time, back in the fall, we had them come out because the hot water tank (7 years old) was producing warm, not hot water. Henry and his partner were on time, checked the tank, heating element etc., then checked the thermostat. Berkeley Electric had set it at below 100 degrees! He upped it to 120 and only charged a service call! We are very pleased with Affordable Electric and will use them again.

Mr. Nettles came out to troubleshoot an electrical problem. On initial contact he wasn't in a position to take info but said he could come out on Monday and promised to call. He didn't. Followed up and he then said it would have to be Wednesday - then changed his mind and said he could come Monday morning. He came and did the work satisfactorily.
We then discussed further work - he quoted a price which was agreed upon and he promised to come out the following Monday. No show, left a message on his machine to find out if I had misunderstood the appointment date. No return call, called again the next day and got him on his mobile, either reception was bad or he didn't want to talk to me, as he hung up. Left another message on his machine - still no response and this is now 3 days later.
We do live a little way from Summerville and I have no problem if he didn't want to take the work but to make an appointment and then not to show up with no phone call is the height of bad manners, especially when schedules have to be rearranged to make sure someone is home.
Very disappointed with his professionalism, after reading his reviews, can only assume that they were submitted by friends and family unless I'm the only person to have received this sort of treatment.
What's wrong with contractors in this area. Don't they know how to use their telephones to keep clients updated???

I called him on Friday, and he came on Monday AM at the appointment time. The 2 men made the replacements to my satisfaction in about 20 minutes. Fast response, on time, efficient, and affordable. What more could I ask for?!! Will definitely use this company in the future.

Working with Bruce Pavlik of ASAP Plumbing, Henry Nettles installed the electrical upgrades required for conversion to an electric tankless water heater from the old tank heater. Encountering a problem caused by the builder of the house efforts to cutback expenses, he found a way to complete the installation and remain within the codes.

He kept me informed on everything that he did as well as answering my questions whether pertinent or not. I would also like to apologize to both contractors for being so long in submitting reviews. I was very happy with performance of both contractorsand am reminded that I need to contact Bruce for needed late yearly maintenance.

He did a great job overall. They are knowledgeable about their work. I was given their contact information from the company that was remodeling my kitchen. They did clean up after themselves. He was very fast and efficient. He did more than expected. We asked if he could added an electrical outlet in our bathroom in addition to the one in the kitchen. His prices are very reasonable.
