After talking to several other companies, hearing conflicting recommendations ("you should get new duct work and new components in the crawl space; definitely move it to the attic; a split system is best for your needs; a packaged system is the way to go."), and getting astronomical quotes, we gave up and soldiered on with our ancient and inefficient HVAC system. Many months later, a friend mentioned the experience she'd just had with Acute Heating and Air and passed their contact info along to me. From the start, it was a whole different experience. I highly recommend Acute Heating and Cooling. Thomas is patient with questions, extremely knowledgeable, professional, does high quality work, super quick to reply, great communicator, shows up on time if not slightly early, and takes great pride in his work and ensuring that customers are happy. Brian was the manager of our project and was great to work with as well for all the same reasons. The system they installed has been flawless. We've recommended them to a number of friends and have heard the same from them.

Thomas was here when he said he would, very courteous, professional, provided wonderful customer service -- from the time I called to make the appointment with Octavia to Thomas's installing the motor - couldn't ask for better service. I was scheduled by a pleasant, friendly woman. Thomas arrived promptly and was also friendly and professional. He efficiently inspected the unit, diagnosed the issue, answered all my questions, and offered a solution. I needed refrigerant and some caps replaced on the input valves. Great price and great service!

We bought our Hvac unit new in 2010 and have never had it serviced. I checked Angie’s list and found Thomas Edwards, owner of Acute HVAC. He had an A rating and when I called the woman who answered the phone was very polite and caring. Turns out it’s his wife! Thomas came out and worked in the heat for two hours and in my attic. He had one part to replace and added Freon. His prices were extraordinarily reasonable and his professionalism is top notch. He even gave me a good discount. I recommend him to everyone! He’s now my “go to” person for HVAC issues. Thanks, Thomas!

Thomas was great. He definitely knows his craft. He has great customer service skills. I was having problems with the heat in my home. Thomas came out and figured out what was going on and in what seemed like a matter of moments fixed my heating problems. I am so very satisfied with him and the service he provided.

The repair went great. Thomas was on time and did a great job replacing the motor for me. He was very thorough, quickly diagnosed the problem, and explained everything along the way. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure all of my issues were taken care of.
