Description of Work: We moved to a new area and I called this company to make a set my grandfather clock up after moving. It had been serviced in Florida the year before. The gentleman told me that the previous person had not done the job he was supposed to on the clock. He took the works of the clock and kept them so long that I called and called and he never returned my calls. Finally, knowing what else to do, I faxed him and after 2 months or so I got my clock back. Three years later the clock stopped working properly and I got the name of a highly recommended clock repair man from a clock company. This clock man told me that Time and Treasures do NOT do the work he said he did, and that the repair was done very poorly and the clock would need to be totally redone AGAIN!!!

 + -1 moreMy mother bought a beautiful gold clock in Europe. The clock was made in Switzerland -purchased there too. The clock had been in the family for forty years. The repair man failed to recognize that it was clearly made in Switzerland, took it apart and was unable to fix it and actually made the problem worse, he then charged us for work that he could not do. He removed parts of the clock. The clock is now being repaired in New York.
Description of Work: Given a Swiss clock to repair.

clock repair
 + -1 moreHe dropped everything he was doing and took care of everything right away. Other shops quoted $75 or more just to check it out. He was very pleasant, professional, and the shop was neat and clean. He was obviously busy, but he dropped what he was doing to help us.
Description of Work: He repaired 2 clocks- a missing part from a move on one clock, and a repair on an antique clock that had stopped working.
