I found a hole over the lid. I dug down and found the tank top was put on incorrectly and dirt was going nto the septic tank. I called them to report this and they gave excusses but never said I'm sorry.
Very bad customer service.

Everything went as requested.

Ha! Called to see if they serviced my house and unfortunately they do not. However the gentleman that answered kindly provided me with a recommendation for use of one of his competitors saying 'they're really good folks, you should call them.' Nice, really nice. As it turns out the competitor is also well rated on AL.

I called Hugh R. Simmons septic services due to my plumbing being backed up in the house. I thought my septic tank needed to be pumped and this company had two A ratings on Angie's list. They dug up the end of my tank and found that it was not backed up and did not even need to be pumped since there was no sludge in the tank. There was only dirty water. The spent an hour at my house diagnosing my immediate problem as tree roots clogging the drain line going to my septic tank. They also pointed out that my drain field was starting to fail due to there not being an outlet baffle on my tank and the fact that tree roots were also growing down along the area where the septic tank flows into the drain field. They then recommended someone who could replace my clogged drain line and make repairs to my septic tank and drainfield. They remained onsite until their colleague showed up so they could show him everything they had found and make sure that he was aware of my problems before giving me an estimate. The owner and his son would not allow me to pay them anything for their work or time since they did not actually pump my tank. They worked hard in exposing the tank and diagnosing the problem in addition to the cost of driving their truck to my house. They also stayed over an hour to make sure that all of my needs were covered. I felt bad not paying them but he explained that their business grows through word of mouth and having a good reputation I highly recommend Hugh R. Simmons septic services for their honesty and work at my house. I also felt that Burgers backhoe service whom they recommended for the repairs did a good job in taking care of my problems.

He did a real good job and said that if we had any problems to call him. He came on time the day he said he would. I had checked prices and they were about the same everywhere.

I have used them before and I have always found them to be prompt. They were good about repairing the area that they had to dig in order to expose the septic tank and did a good clean up. They worked as per the requirements and within the estimate that was given to us.
