I chose Equity Builders because of reviews on Angie's list as well as Duane's obvious knowledge and skill in the business and his professional handling of the project estimate process.
The roof was done in a day, including clean up, and the deck work was completed over about three days (slowed by some weather issues). Duane was willing to work with me when last-minute changes and minor adjustments needed to be made, always insisting that our wishes were most important. He resolved a couple of issues and even rebuilt a portion (the ramp) to suit us a little better. He was always pleasant and helpful, and again, very professional. He let me know that if any problems were to arise, all I have to do is call or email him and he will come out to make things right. So far, that has not been necessary.
They also did a couple of minor fixes needed per an insurance inspector - fixing a section of gutter, repairing a rotted piece of fascia board, and adding a handrail to steps going to the street from our front walk.
Duane gave excellent advise and guidance, and I anticipate having other jobs around the house that I will use him for.
