it was without a doubt the most stressful, depressing, horrible thing I have ever been through in my life. When they were finished they wanted $350,000.00 for what they did MINUS the screen porch. It was as if they based their price on my finished product. There was lie after lie. Never once did we ever get an itemized bill. There was never once a change in plans. Of course they said there was but could not produce one change order. We had to secure an attorney. I actually fired them with a few things left to do. Naturally they came back onto the property and put a nail in before the deadline was up for them to put a lien on our house. They did that while we were not home. We eventually we settled out of court and got the final bill lowered $50,000.00. But i will never get back the time that the stress of it all took from me. You cant put a price on that.
