They cleaned out the dryer vent that was apparently in desperate need for it. I was always running my laundry in the dryer through two cycles, thinking it was just because it was an old dryer. Someone suggested I have the vent cleaned out so I took advantage of the Angie's List deal that Ductz offered. It didn't take long for them to complete the job. For a small extra fee they changed the duct cover on the outside to prevent birds from coming in to nest. (They had found an unoccupied nest in the duct!)

The only issue I encountered is that Angie's List did not notify the provider of the service purchase from Angie's List. I ended up calling the provider directly to follow up since I had not heard from him. After that though everything went perfect. They came out the next day and completed my service request.

The technician could not have been nicer, especially after driving an hour just to get here. Performed a great cleaning service and even pointed out a hazard within our hvac unit that might have cause damage to the system - many thanks! Bottom line - highly recommended and will definitely use again.

I have had great difficulty in getting this service provider contacted and scheduled. I am seeking a refund from Angie's List.

"We never received an e-mail from Angie's List stating this customer had requested our services. However, a week or so ago she did call us and expressed her displeasure that we had not contacted her. I explained this was the first I had heard of this and she acted as though she was satisfied with my explanation. I offered to schedule the service at that time and she said she thought she would just get a refund but if she changed her mind she would call us. I do not see how Angie's List failing to notify us of this request for service should result in a negative review for DUCTZ. I spoke with a representative from Angie's List and he said he confirmed we never received the e-mail requesting service. He said he would look into it but could promise the review would be removed. The services went well. Provider arrived on time and performed work in a professional manner. Our only minor thoughts were that the service is a bit pricey; but there is some heavy equipment required to create the negative air in the system, so maybe that drives up the cost to the homeowner. The other minor thing was one vent cover was reinstalled upside down in the basement but no big deal the correct.

The process for me was worth it. It seems a bit pricey, but I do not have anything to compare it to. My sister said she had this process done back in the 80's in Atlanta and she thought it was around $350 back then.

My company uses Ductz 2-3 times a month. They are professional, on time, and provide a high level of service for the price. They are the industry experts.
Ductz has cleaned my home and homes of my family...everyone was very happy...including my mother who is very hard to please.
We have looked at lot of duct cleaners who say they do the same thing as Ductz..but once you compare apples to apples they were not even close to what Ductz did in the homes and businesses.

Prompt, clean efficient understood the requirement and carried it out over half a day. Excellent job would recommend them to anybody. He also totally cleaned up after finishing the job. He carried it out the work with the absolute minimum of inconvenience to the occupants.

Most air duct cleaners have a glorified shop vac with a brush...Ductz has state of the science equipment that insures the ducts are pristine when they leave. Thanks Karl for always taking great care of our customers.
