Davis Heating and Air Conditioning

My a/c still isn't fixed and my home is a swamp. I'm out of $169.00 and the company did nothing but insult me and threaten me with legal action even though I haven't done anything illegal. I was treated as though I don't have a brain of my own since I'm female and the only answer I got from them on the actual issue between threats of course was to let them come back out to charge me more money! When the first job wasn't done correctly. My drainage pipe wasn't vacuumed out before they suggested that they needed to rip out my drainage pan. Which of course is bigger bucks for them! Horrible company. They also charged $89.00 just to come to my home while every other company is charging $70-75. I paid that amount thinking that it would be superior service. I was wrong! When my husband spoke to them and asked if they were to come back out if they would at least accept a post dated check and was upfront about when the money would be available to them. They accused us trying to ask them to break the law and once again was threatened with a call to the police! In the state of South Carolina writing post dated checks is not illegal! They could have simply said no we don't accept post dated checks instead of becoming a fast talking con like bully. After that experience I wanted my $89.00 service charge back because at this point I wouldn't let them near my hvac system. At which I was told I must be running a scam and got a long winded high minded insult.
