BOBBY JACKSON ELECTRICAL INC

My husband was installing a ceiling fan and a wire in the junction box broke.  This made us quite anxious as to how to proceed.  We called Bobby Jackson and he and a co worker came the next day.  They fixed the broken wire and hung the fan for us, and then looked over the wiring generally.  He advised against rewiring our fifty year old house at this time as this type of wiring is not associated with problems

It took a lot longer than they had originally told me but they stuck with the $4000 quote that they gave me.  As far as I can tell they did good work.  I did have to get on them really hard at one point because they told me the job was done and had passed inspection (I live out of state) and I went out there to check it and found that several lights didn't work and the doorbell didn't work and there was garbage left everywhere.  I immediately called Bobby and told him and he asked me to make a list and they corrected everything on the list.  They cleaned everything up and it passed inspection from the city electrical inspector.  I'd say I would use them again, but I understand that I will need to be on top of things to make sure that the job gets done right and completely.  This is my honest opionion.  They did do everything that I asked and they did it to a quality level that passed inspection. 

It went excellent, they did a very good job. They gave us a quote and stuck with it. They did the job no matter how long it took them. They do good quality work. He was very professional. He has been doing the job for about 30 years. Whoever he hires as a foreman does a very good job and they do clean up.

They saved me a lot of money by being honest and knowing what they were doing. I don't remember how long they were here but I thought $200 was reasonable

Mr. Jackson came the day after I called for an estimate. He came the next morning. The estimate was free. The following morning the men came to perform the work described above. Mr. Jackson and the three men who did the work were all pleasant and polite. I have yet to receive the bill but I was told it would be $700. I had one other estimate. The cost for the same service was $1,544.02 and he was not going to go through the roof. He wanted the roofers to do that.

They were punctual, were nice about running to local home improvement store when one of the replacements I had provided was the wrong size. Very professional.

My husband had called and was told there was an eight-week backlog. Within four weeks they called back and said they could have someone work us in on their lunch hour, so we said come ahead. Two men came promptly. We discussed what we wanted and they made some suggestions. We decided on the simplest repair and they went ahead and completed it in a couple of hours, including going back to the shop to get appropriate plate covers. They were very courteous and did excellent quality work. They had no idea what the charge would be but the company billed us. We had no idea what it would cost and did not think it was particularly cheap but were glad to have the work done.

Bobby came within two days to give an estimate. He offered suggestions on how to achieve our objectives and gave us a price that was fair and suited our budget. The men arrived promptly at 7:30AM and were courteous and efficient. They came back for 3 days until all the work was completed to our satisfaction
