John did an excellent job on my pond/waterfall. It was an existing water feature that needed attention. John came and accessed the job. He replaced pumps/filter and cleaned it. He added beneficial plants. Itâ s beautiful!!!

We spent months trying to find someone to fix a leak in our Koi Pond. John with Fairview called after my Angi posting. He scoped out the job within two days, gave us an estimate, and a date. The work was done on time and the end result is the pond is working again, but the rebuilt waterfall looks even better than it did before. Where we are, reliable contractors are not the norm. Fairview is one.

No matter how many messages you leave they go unanswered. I ask what to use for the stringy algae growing in my pond. No response. One of my 3 water lights has stopped working. I called and left a message. Dud this company return my call? NO, they did mot. Had my husband call. Guess what they answered and said they would be out on Saturday to fix it. That was 2 Saturdays ago. Have they been here? No they have not. Now they do not answer my husbands calls or messages either. They let my 2 fish die and replaced them with 2 blackfish. You could only see those fish when the pond lights were on. Now that there is only 2 burning lights you cant see them at all.

Do not use this company. Dumped chemical in my pond and told me after fact had over 30 fish that died that were years old because of chemical they put in. When asked them about different filter system rep said system would work paid 2500.00 for them to get equipment and install. Pond turned green, paid 500.00 for recommended pond clean. Clean three days then green again. Lies.

Excellent laborer but definitely not a water feature designer. Poor selection of the stones that were used for steps. In replacing the water feature stones the various water falls lost their height and some were turned into rapids rather than drops. We were misled to believe that the lower pond liner was also to be replaced. Not the case despite the age of the pad and liner.

"We are sorry that you feel that way but as discussed in the estimate process the lower pond liner was not leaking so it did not need to be replaced which was agreed. With the falls due to the leak having worn down the ground some areas had to be reshaped and there are still 7 falls throughout the entire run. As for the boulder steps they were described quoted and installed as natural stone steppers meaning that they did not have fine edges but were natural stepping stones. Thank you."

Comment: Absolutely horrible experience-it was not until I said I would post this bad experience that John Bruder, the owner, left our house and then sent a text back and said he would make the horrible job right because he did not want us to tell the truth and hurt his business. I just do not want another unsuspecting client to go through anything like this. The worst job we have ever hired anyone to do for us in our lifetime as home-owners! Call us- I have pictures to support this story. I have neighbors and friends that will support this terrible mess we were left with
