We relocated and needed a home inspector in the Greenville area. I called several home inspection companies looking for an ASHI certified inspector. Jim Sofet, the owner, called back in a few minutes later and was very helpful. He explained that his services are priced based upon the size of the home. He impressed me as having a great attitude and willingness to satisfy me as a customer. We set up an appointment for the home inspection a few days later. Jim sent an e-mail confirming our appointment. He sent a second e-mail the day before the inspection as well as a copy of the inspection agreement for my signature. Jim was 15 minutes early for the inspection and was prepared to begin. As I stated above, the inspection took almost four hours and was very detailed and thorough. He was an excellent communicator and explained his finding as well as showing me what they were and offered suggestions on how to repair the deficiencies. The day following the inspection I received a very thorough written report via e-mail. Jim is the fourth home inspector we have used when buying a home and he is, by far, the best.
