A very thorough pre-sale inspection on my mothers home so she could have a peace of mind that there were no major problems. They were very friendly and professional from the moment they arrived making my mom comfortable with the process. The report arrived the very next day with pictures detailing any issues that could be addressed by the buyer. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a detailed home inspection!

In making the appointment, Jim was courteous and was able to have the property inspected in the timeframe that I needed. He was very prompt in returning my calls and providing all the necessary paperwork. The inspector was very knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. He inspected the property thoroughly and the report was returned back to me within 24 hours. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to anyone looking for an inspector.

Jim was GREAT! We were on a tight schedule but wanted the house thoroughly checked out before putting in an offer, especially as it was a foreclosure. He was flexible with his scheduling, as I was driving from 2 hours away with a toddler and infant but wanted to be present for the inspection. He arranged everything with my real estate agent to make the appointment happen, and then met me there. When we got there, the bank that owned the house had sent a work crew to complete the already approved repairs, but Jim worked with them to get around to see every part of the house. He did a THOROUGH job and explained everything he found along the way (which has helped in the months since, as we now live in the home and have been able to fix many little things ourselves). He spent several hours there, and climbed into some tights spaces to see what was really happening (with our supposedly dual HVAC system that had been rewired permanently open) and document it with pictures. He then emailed me the report (around 10 pages with detailed explanations and pictures) quickly so I could take his recommendations to the negotiation table. I particularly appreciated the way the report was broken down to point out which issues were safety concerns, which were major, minor and cosmetic; this also helped us determine where to put our priorities in negotiating with the bank.
Jim is personable, honest, and knowledgeable about this area and home inspections. He is also an experienced electrician, so he was particularly able to share tips with me about how to fix the simple electrical problems on my own, while letting me know which ones I would need to hire an expert for. He also pointed us in the direction of several other businesses in the area that have proven to be great resources.
And I forgot to mention that I found him originally because I had erroneously called another inspector in North Carolina and was referred to Jim as a quality home inspector by him, so he has a reputation for good work in this area!
I will call on Jim without a moment's hesitation if I ever need a home inspection, and I recommend him to everyone who wants quality and trustworthy work at a good price!

The gentleman that did my home inspection was Jim and he was extremely informative and was very thorough. He made me aware of everything that he thought necessary and walked me around the entire home, letting me know every detail to look for. I HIGHLY recommend this company. He was also early for the appointment, which was also well respected.
