Quality Home Repair

Here we are in December of 2014 and not only has the job not been completed but I can not get Tony or his crew to respond to my phone calls.  The work that has been "done," needs to be redone; poor craftsmanship.  Tony had constant issues with his crew throughout the process and needed more and more money...   It even came to a point where I had to help out one of his subcontractors in an effort to get the job done.   I have paid about three quarters of the agreed upon price and also shelled out more money for the stairs/banister and now not only is the job not done, but I don't even have the material that I have paid for.  If you are looking for a contractor that is difficult/ almost impossible to get a hold of, that is always at least two hours late, talks down to you and your wife, takes your money and does sub par craftsmanship then Tony with Quality Home Repair is your man!

I have known of Tony Hughey, and his work for others, for the past year. Until that day, I had never hired him. After being broken into several times recently, I was determined to put a stop to it. I called Tony at 9:30 in the morning, he was on-site before 11:30 that same day. He quoted me a very fair price for the work and said he would be back early in the afternoon to start the job. I gave him the go-ahead and he was back by 2:00 pm with the materials and a helper, Robbie.
They did everything I asked and more. Thanks to their suggestions, not only is my home now secure, but it looks better than before the break-ins happened. By the end of the day, I'd gotten far more than I expected and paid a lot less than what I had been quoted.
They worked in the rain, they were polite, fast, and efficient. Although I didn't know it at the time, they cleaned up a mess I hadn't gotten to yet. I have employed several contractors over the years and enjoy watching talented, skilled professionals at work and they didn't disappoint.
I am already planning on having him back to do some non-emergency pressure washing and some additional painting. After seeing pictures of his work, I may even ask him to remodel one of my bathrooms.
