Lee was very punctual in picking up the furniture, although he arrived alone and luckily I had someone here to help him put the furniture in and take them out of his van. He said he has 45 years experience, the reviews on Angie's List were so positive, I thought I was making  a good decision going with him. This is the worst job I have ever seen. The fabric is unraveling in places, the nail head trim isn't straight, the cording along the edges of the chairs also isn't straight, the front of the chairs looks like it's patched. I called Lee to let him know I wasn't pleased. He said he would come back, but I have heard nothing from him. I hope I can find an upholsterer to salvage this mess. The fabric was quite expensive and now it's ruined. The chairs look  like an amateur reupholstered them.  Unfortunately, when he delivered the chairs, I did not inspect them properly. The movers that were here, along with painters and cabinet makers all commented what an awful job this was. They even said they hoped I hadn't paid him. Lesson learned to thoroughly inspect and not assume someone is going to do a good job.

He told me how much material I needed and where to get the material at a very good price.  After purchasing the material on a Saturday, I texted him and he picked the chair up on Monday.  By midday Thursday, he texted a picture of the chair all done!  He did a great job and the price was very reasonable.  So glad I found him on Angie's List!

He was very punctual and efficient. He came by to see the piece, even though I offered to come to him as initially I didn't know if I wanted to go ahead with the work. I couldn't decide, based on wavering attachment to the chair. When I called a few days later, he came back to pick up the chair, delivered back to me sooner than he quoted and it was beautiful. When my husband saw the chair and the workmanship, he said we should do the mate chair. He came back, yet again, picked up the other chair and delivered it finished in less than a week. 
I currently have plans for more work with him after the first of the year.  Very pleased!

He arrived on time to take the first chair, even though we offered to deliver it to him. He delivered the finished chair on the exact day as promised. The work was excellent. In fact it was so good that we asked him to do the second wing back chair. The improvement in that chair exceeded our expectations. It was especially gratifying because the wing back chair has great sentimental value, as well as being a very beautiful and valuable piece. We are expecting to call him later this month to take some cushions on a sofa that was reupholstered by someone else a few years ago. That job was done very poorly with three pieces of foam glued together in one of the three cushions. The glue has given way so the cushions are unsightly. He will bring new foam to the house to replace the foam in all the cushions for basically the price of the foam plus his time. We then intend to have him redo the seat and back of a glider we have. This man does excellent work. We are so thankful that we found him. Thank you Angie's List.

Lee harris upholstered a huge sectional sofa for us. He clearly knew what he was doing and was able to tell by looking just how much fabric we should order. He was willing to work around our work schedules for pick up and deliveries. And Lee was always prompt - he seems to be a man of his word. We highly recommend Lee to others who need upholstery work done. We would definitely use his services again when needed.

I found the contact information on Angies list and was able to send a photo of the items for review. I promptly received a quote back and was told how much material to purchase. Once I bought the material the items were picked up within a day and returned within a week. The items look great and I will be caling again to get a tufted chair reupholstered

This included rewebbing and padding. He was very professional and did an excellent job on the chairs! I will definitely be using Halls Upholstery for all my future upholstery needs.

I purchased a recliner off Craigslist for my nursery that was an unfortunate shade of pink with contrasting green trim. It also reeked of Febreeze...and I didn't know that until I got it home. Mr. Parris picked up the chair on Monday afternoon and I had it back by Thursday evening! It looks perfect and it smells wonderful (not the point of re-upholstering a chair but it sure helped!). He was very affordable and I was able to text him a picture of my chair so that he could tell me how much fabric he would need and how much he would charge. I think it took me longer to find the fabric than it took him to redo my chair! He did a wonderful job and I'm so excited to put this chair in my nursery.

Mr. Parris did a great job on my chairs. He was fast and the price was very good. He was also very nice. I am getting ready to call him to re-upholster a sofa for my daughter and will use him again.

He took a part (2) parts of the sectional with him and said he would have it done and returned within 1-2 weeks. I have not heard back from him since and his phone number is currently disconnected. I have been unable to reach him since.

It went very well. Mr Hall was competent to do the work we requested and we thought he did it very well. I would hire him again if we needed a piece upholstered.

WE CONTACTED HAL BY PHONE AND DESCRIBED THE WORK WE WANTED DONE WHICH WAS TO RE-UPHOLSTER TWO VERY BIG OVERSTUFFED CHAIRS. HAL GAVE US AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE AND TOLD US HOW MUCH MATERIAL WE WOULD NEED. WE BOUGHT THE MATERIAL AND HAL PICKED UP THE CHAIRS AT THE APPOINTED TIME. HE RETURNED THE CHAIRS AT THE PROMISED TIME AND CHARGED THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE PRICE. THE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER AND THE PRICE WAS VERY, VERY FAIR.

The work was professionally done and in a timely manner. I highly recommend Mr. Parris for any upholstery needs You won't be disappointed.

After our call he provided an estimate and came to our house to pick up the cushion size and fabric. Within a week he had redone the cushion for us and it turned out great. He delivered the cushion back to our house, the charge was the same as the estimated amount. We would use him again.
