Plumbing
Still under warranty, the shower leaked and the hardwood floors in the master bedroom and closet buckled up. Called the plumber on Friday and he didn't send anyone until Monday afternoon and only because we kept calling. They tightened a valve and said "all fixed, run a fan in the room and the floors will flatten down." It was still leaking under the house so we had the drywall in back of the shower taken out. We found a leak that was probably there since the house was built. The plumbers returned and replaced a piece of pipe but I had to call my own insurance company to send a recovery crew to tear out the floors. Then had to find someone to replace the damaged floors, drywall, paint etc. We had to pay a $500.00 deductible.
