Best Overhead Doors & Vinyl Siding

Had siding come down due to hurricane helene. The two gentlemen came in timely fashion and did an outstanding job. You can tell they take pride in their work

After having two onsite reviews and quotes, and doing some internet searches and estimates, I decided to with Best Overhead Door. They did a good job on their initial and visit and quote. Friendly and informative about the various options. I exchanges emails with Amanda and we reached agreement on product and cost. Had to be special order but within two weeks I have a new Door installed. They obviously knew what they were doing and were very efficient and left no mess. Great Job, great price, and great customer service!

Fantastic. Left a message with Best and they responded within an hour. Appointment time set up for the next day. Greg the owner called before arriving to confirm the time. He and an apprentice diagnosed and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. Wiring was good, sensors just needed replacement. Greg and his helper were prompt, thorough, courteous and professional. I would recommend Best for family, friends or anyone who has garage door needs.

I emailed Amanda 3 times over a month long period requesting someone to come out and take a look at the job. Each time, she was prompt to respond back by email and I was told someone would call me to arrange a time or that someone would come to the house on a certain day. No one ever showed up on any of the various days Amanda suggested and no one ever called saying they weren't coming on those days where they were supposed to come to the house. If they are too busy to deal with me, I would rather they said so vs. telling me they will be there on a certain day and then not calling or coming (happened 3 times). Very unprofessional. I give up. Will call someone else now.

The technician arrived a few minutes late but had called. Very professional. Work done quickly and well. No attempt to sell me anything else. 5% discount for Angie's List members. Would certainly use them again.

This is a family owned business. Consumer services was good from the first phone call. He was very nice and professional, he came in assessed the issue and provided a quote. He was very diligent in doing the work and I would use this company again, if needed and will recommend this company to others. Thanks for doing a great job.

Prompt - on-time with a pre-arrival notification. Knowledgeable - knew exactly what the problem was and what was needed without an up-sell. Efficient - was fixed properly and quickly, which was important due to my time constraints. Responsive - I requested they add a redundant torsion spring, which they did with no problem whatsoever. Reasonably priced - was equal or less than I expected after researching approximations online for replacement of 2 springs. Overall great experience. What else could you ask for? Will absolutely use again for future garage (and maybe vinyl siding!) needs. Great customer service goes a long way.

Greg came out the same day and replaced the two old tension springs with a single tension rod. Very professional and nice to work with. Completed the work quickly. I would definitely use them again.

I have used Best Overhead Doors in the past and will use them in the future if the need arises. Greg was very thorough, and made sure we were fully satisfied before he left our property. I can’t remember the last time the door worked so smoothly and quietly.

Greg realigned the opener track and sprayed it as well as the rollers. The doors operate better and are quieter. He was quick, professional and very informative. He didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. He and his wife run this business and they are both great. We will definitely use them again and highly recommended them.

As soon as Best saw the Genie opener, he new what the problem was. Recommended replacing. Since I have 2 the same, I had both replaced. They phoned to say they were on their way. Replaced the openers and recommended additional support on the doors. Openers were programmed

Note: I originally tried to contact this provider via Angie's List messaging system (actually two providers). Neither responded and so I called Best Overhead Doors and was told they have not received the message. I suspect the other provider did not also. So I recommend that you call the providers and not depend on Angie's system to work.

The spring on my garage door broke Tuesday evening.  I called Best Overhead Door well after business hours, and Amanda answered the phone well after usual business hours.  She provided a quote of $165 to replace the broken spring over the phone, and scheduled her husband to come out Wednesday afternoon - the next day.  
He arrived right on time, explained repair options (one spring versus two), and got to work immediately.  I opted to replace the one existing spring with two new ones, for a total of $240.  In the space of about 35 minutes, the new springs were installed and the door once again would open and close.  He then noted that the garage door opener was rather loud and lubricated it.  He also adjusted the height of the door as there was (and had always been) a small gap between the door and the ground.
He and his assistant were punctual, professional, and polite - everything you want in a service provider.
Before they left, they also took a few minutes to look at my vinyl siding that was damaged in a hailstorm a few weeks ago.  Based on the quality and speed of their spring repair, I absolutely would hire Best Overhead Door again.
