They arrived as scheduled, set up and installed 30 inches of insulation. Cleaned up and left in under an hour.

Joe Scott came out right away and gave me an estimate. We agreed on a date and price. They (Joe, Mike and Alton) arrived on time and did an excellent job. They protected my carpet with plastic and were very careful. They did what they said they would do and cleaned up after the job. I was very pleased and would use them again.

I bought an old house (1940) and had it renovated. There was only 4-6 inches in part of the attic (parts had none) and the batts of insulation put under the house were installed on the wrong side. There was no insulation in the walls. I boiled last summer and froze this past winter. I had to do something before the summer heat was here again. I was very concerned about getting a good job and finding someone knowledgeable about insulating an old home. I still pinch myself because I really found the best person/company to do the job. Joe Scott, owner of Atwood & Son Insulation impressed me with his knowledge, experience and service right away. After meeting with several other people I chose Joe and I am so grateful. Atwood & Son did a superb job in every area of my home that needed insulation. Joe found several areas that had no insulation that I didn't know even existed in the roof area. He took out the bad stuff under the house and replaced it properly. Insulating the walls of an old home requires the special knowledge that Joe has acquired over 40 years and he know just what to do. The people who worked with him were terrific and they were all part of the family. They worked hard every minute, they cleaned and swept the work area constantly and were a real pleasure to deal with. I paid a fair price for a great job. Now that it is July I know that the work he did has made such a difference. Now when I go upstairs, instead of feeling hotter with every step, the temperature is pretty much the same as downstairs. The house feels cool and the heat pump isn't on all the time like last summer. If you are thinking about insulating anything it will make a difference if it is done correctly. Joe Scott of Atwood&Son Insulation is the person you should call.
