They came out free of charge. It was a follow up from a couple years ago to make sure the treatment was working. The staff is very friendly, responsive and highly knowledgeable in their area. The technician is happy to explain everything to me. They usually schedule appointments about a week out.

They are professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and trustworthy. They also clean up after themselves which is not something I can say about other tree services. They are simply the best around, and I wouldn't think of hiring anyone else to do what they do.

TreeSouth gave myself and the insurance company an estimate of approximately $800 to do the job; the final bill came in at over $1600. Karl stated this was because he discussed with insurance agent about some other things and was given the ok. The only issue I had was that they had to bring in a crane to lower the tree from the house and the crane tore up and left indentations in my yard which TreeSouth did nothing about. I was told I would have to have a landscaper come. They also didn't remove the shattered stump. Other than these issues, I had no problem with them. I would use them again but this time, I would first get a written estimate which included everything that they would and wouldn't do.

As the owner will tell you, Tree South is not the cheapest. However, they may be the most professional, reliable, and cleanest company around for tree work.

I called because on of my cherry trees was obviously sick. I was hoping it could be treated and revitalized. Karl came out while I was at work and wrote me a full page of information of his recommendations (free). He recommended removing the one tree because it had gone too far and would be difficult if not impossible to bring back. He also recommended pruning and fertilizing the other tree. It was about 250 to remove the one tree and about 200-230 to do the work on the other tree. I called several times because I wanted to be sure that removing the tree was the best option (since it was a really pretty tree when it was healthy) and he explained to me what he thought happened and what steps I could take to plant a new tree in its place. They came out and did all the work while I was at work and although I can't be sure the fertilizing treatment worked yet, I felt that they were being honest and not selling me something that I didn't need.

He came out the same day I called to give me the estimate. He completed the work the next day. I wasn't there, but he met with my son and he liked him. I was totally pleased with his services.

TreeSouth promptly sent Karl a certified arborist to quote the job at my house. Karl quickly assessed the trees on the property and provided an estimate well below what I had originally anticipated. Once contracted, it took approximately 3 weeks, as was expressed at the time the contract was signed, for the work to be completed. On the Saturday before the team came to perform the work, I received a call telling me they would be coming the following tuesday. They showed up, a couple of hours later than originally specified, but well within reason, given the nature of tree service. They maintained professionalism, and performed the work quickly, performing extensive cleanup of all debris, to the point, that I wouldn't have known they had been there. I would highly recommend this service, and intend to use them again next time I need tree service.

We needed a professional who could tell us what could be done to protect a very large oak tree and not just want to cut it down. Carl drove a long way to give us educated professional direction on what to do to protect the tree. His advice was sound and greatly appreciated. He did not try to sell us anything we didn't need. If you want a professional opinion on keeping your trees healthy, I could not recommend his service more highly.

Used Tree South twice. One to do limbing up of several large trees and once to take down 2 fifty foot plus trees. on both occasions they arrived on the date and time they said they would. They performed their work excellently and did a 100% clean before they left. Outstanding service.

Tree South LLC is phenomenal. They are the most professional people. They show you a list of all the workers names and you can see they are all insured and bonded and show you the insurance papers. They are superior. Prices are at the top.

Arrived on time and finished early.... very large job and done completely as I wanted.

I have actually used TreeSouth (http://www.treesouth.com/) twice now for tree trimming and removal, though this second job of taking down a number of large trees was much the larger of the two jobs I had them come out for. At least one of these trees was quite tall and was leaning over the house and so they brought out a crane. The guys seem to be very well trained and I trust their work completely. Living in the Upstate it is pretty easy to find people willing to come cut down trees, often for relatively cheap prices, but it is not so easy to find a company that I trust completely to do the job. TreeSouth is probably more expensive than some tree-trimming companies but with TreeSouth you know that the workers, and your property, are insured if anything goes wrong. They really inspired me with confidence in their professionalism, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of trees, which is something that I am more than happy to pay a bit more for.
