Dr. Roger Ross is very gentle with the animals and and quot;tells it like it isand quot;. He does not automatically order a lot of extra tests but rather gives the pros and cons of all aspects of treatment and lets the owner decide what to do for his/her pet. He is an excellent vet and more importantly, he also runs a no-kill shelter at Fox Nest.

After failing to identify a probable thyroid probl which caused wasting away pg our dog's back legs and hip muscles, he failed to use a sufficient dose of medicine to put her down on the first try. This was very traumatic to my elderly mother, who loved that dog with all her heart. He then "up sold" her on the high-end cremation service.

made appointment for both my cats. one was urinating around the house, the other was scooting. vet examined both very thoroughly and one urinating had blood work and a urinalysis done to determine a small UTI infection. stayed overnight and was started on an antibiotic. She came home next day and was very happy. Will continue to use Foxnest as our new vet! They also did a follow up call the next day to see how both cats were doing.

I love the place. The staff is great. The doctor is great. The only thing is the waiting. If they have other dogs in there, you can't get in right away. They're really great on prices. They were very reasonable. They work with you if you have a problem. They can help. There were several times I have gone there and they took me in immediately but a lot of times I had to wait.

Dr. Dunnagin had previously run a test on the dog for possible Cushing's syndrome and was giving me the results. We discussed the findings and he asked if I wanted to be referred to a specialist for further investigation. I told him yes, and referral was made immediately.

The cost of this visit is atypical, because an outside lab had to run the test, which was expensive. As a rule, this clinic does its best to keep the cost down for the client, while still providing good quality care. Both veterinarians at Fox Nest are competent and compassionate. The office staff is courteous. It is rare that an appointment is not available in a timely manner. I have taken my pets to Fox Nest since moving to South Carolina in 1998. When Dr. Ross was the only vet, occasionally the wait was long, but now that he has a partner they are very punctual. They do not hesitate to refer if they feel that specialists are indicated for an animal's condition. They have euthanized one dog and one cat for me with great consideration and empathy for both pet and owner. I recommend them highly.

They take the pets there if they are really sick and they have a shelter there. I would highly recommend them. They have always cured my pet. Their timings are very flexible. Their staff's friendliness is excellent.

My mom is elderly and he has been excellent with her pets. She has a pet that had a surgery in another hospital and he accepted him as a transfer patient. So, he has been very nice to help us with a very difficult health situation with a beloved pet.
