In spring of 2011 we hired Mr. Henson to replace old ceramic tile in a small downstairs bath and we were very pleased with results so this year we called him when we decided to remodel our upstairs hall bathroom. We did some of the work ourselves, so we wanted him to remove old tile and then wait until we called several weeks later to install the new. He was happy to accommodate us.
He had not installed the new wood-look ceramic tile we had selected before, but he did a beautiful job. The total amount paid included removal of old tile (from cement base), purchase of plywood, baseboard, and hardiieboard, grout, and all other materials except for tile itself, and removal of old toilet and installation of new. It was 60+ square feet of tile. Total time was 2 days to remove old tile and 2 days to install new tile and baseboards. We trust him to work in our home without us being there. Mike is a very personable man and does really nice work. I believe he also does hardwood floors but we have not needed that. We plan to remodel our master bath within the next year or two and will definitely be calling him.
