WELLS FARGO HOME MORTGAGE

It took Wells Fargo over a month to provide a response to our mortgage application after providing a pre-approval letter. In addition, I already have a mortgage with Wells Fargo and in 11 years I have never missed a payment or been late.  It's not the response I received that troubles me, however.  It's the fact that they took over four weeks to respond when other banks and lenders responded in less than a week.

When I contacted Debie Troutman I explained my situation. I have poor credit and no money to put down on a home. She gave me tips to become qualified and gave me a return date in which I could expect to get pre-approved. I returned to her a month prior to the date and asked for her help. She gladly assisted me. I qualified with a scor just high enough for the loan pre-approval. She then took me step-by-step through things I shouldn't do and should do to get the loan approval and appraisal. During this process she had a personal matter to attend to and could not come in to work. However, she work diligent with me on the phone and via email to continue the process. We didn't miss a beat. The best part of her service is that she did it with a smile and made me feel comfortable with the whole process. Other lenders treated me as if I were a bad person for making mistakes, but Debie did the opposite. She bend over backwards to find ways to help me. She is a blessing to her customers and Wells Fargo.
