Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

When I decided to pursue the builder over code issue they kindly didn't charge for advice and visit.

He came out on time and did a thorough check and determined there was nothing wrong. Refused payment. Will call again if the need arises.

Everyone was great. My wife's schedule can be challenging, and they were able to reschedule several times to help us on short notice. Scott was very courteous and cleared the clog in about an hour. My only concern was a leak because the sink trap was cross-threaded when reinstalled. I was able to fix the threads and put it back together. $225 seems like a lot for one hour's worth of work clearing a clogged drain with a snake.

New to area. needed help on a hurry. Called Roto Rooter. Was told there would be a plumber by that afternoon. 10 minutes later was happily told the man was on the way. What Service!! Scott(220) was here and diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes. He was able to correct the problem immediately. Scott was knowledgeable and professional. I will certainly call them again. We now have a plumber if we need them!!

.,I phoned an 800 number and within 5 minutes a technician phoned to obtain info. This was about 7:00PM Sunday night.  He told me he had 2 other calls  but would be with me in about 2 hours.  He arrived about an hour and 15 minutes later. I showed him were the leak was in the kitchen and took him to the approximate location in the crawl space. He turn off the water at the meter; cut a small neat hole in the wall board, cut the "plastic" pipe, replace it and then went to the crawl space to connect the new pipe. He offered to contact a contractor to replace the wet insulation but I choose to do it through my insurance company. I asked for an estimate to replace all the pipes in the house and he gave me one before he departed.  Well spoken young man and very professional. The cost was a bit pricy but on a Sunday night well worth it.

11/10/15 got notice that a renter of a mobile home I inherited from my mother at her passing last year had no drainage from kitchen sink. Only been in MH once in 2 years as mother was the landlord.  After a friend and I tried to unstop the drainage we decided there were more problems than we could fix. We called Rotorooter  to come and survey the whole MH. That led to a complete overhaul of the water system & partial overhaul of the sewer line. It seems some of the problems (rusty water, stopped up water lines, lost faucet handles, etc) had been hidden from my mother. The renters (including a young nephew) had several times told her everything was ok.  The next morning Peter & Bobby started work and worked until late that evening. They finished the work the next day about 2:00pm.  They worked hard, were punctual & very mannerly to the renters and me.. There was one problem with a shower diverter not diverting all of the water in one shower from the bathtub faucet. Bobby came the next day to work on it but did not have the right part. Both Peter & Bobby came two days later and fixed the shower in about 15 minutes.  The mobile home may not been worth the amount I had to pay but my mother really loved her nephew and wanted me to continue to help out.

It took Roto Rooter 20 minutes to clear my drain issue. I'm so happy I called them.  I just wish I looked here for the coupon first I could have saved a few bucks.

I woke up to water all over the place in my kitchen. My faucet was leaking from the handle and somewhere inside the faucet and water was leaking down into the cabinets below. My lower cabinet had about a 1/4 inch of water in it. I shut off the valves under the sink but it was still dripping.



I called and Scott came out very quickly, in less than an hour. He assessed the issue and said it was a faulty faucet (brand new home, built 18 months previously) and he said I should go buy a faucet, as it would be cheaper, and I'd get exactly what I wanted, and then he would come back and install. He turned off the main water line while he was there since the leaking was still happening.

He came back after another call, and he called to let me know he was on his way, and he installed the new kitchen faucet. He was quick and efficient and gave me a business card of a flood remediation company if I wanted a free diagnosis of all the water damage, since I had no idea how long the faucet had been leaking over night.







After Scott left, he texted me a while later to check to see if there was any leaking still. I really appreciated him checking.







I thought $250 to install a kitchen faucet was a bit high, but in the grand scheme of things, with all the other damage, it was a small price to pay to get the leaking stopped. I had the Angie's List coupon (pay $25 for $75), so the cost was $175. ($200 total).



And I have to admit, I've never paid for a faucet install, so I'm not exactly sure what the market price is for something like that.

After experiencing a back up of our sewer system, Roto-Rooter was at our door in approximately a half hour.  Scott was very professional in appearance and in his communication with us regarding the problem.  We were able to view, on his camera, exactly where the issues were with a broken pipe that will need replacing.  He fixed our immediate problem and we feel extremely comfortable going ahead with the follow on repair, which should be done within the week.  Overall, very pleased with the service that we have received.

I had a complete back up in my home. The tech came out explained the problem. Showed me what was causing the problem and gave me options to fix the issues that worked with my budget. The tech was very professional and worked hard to make sure my issue was resolved.

He arrived on time.  Did the work in a few hours and cleaned up after.

They arrived 60 minutes after I called! Scott was in and out in 30 minutes and did a complete and thorough job. Cost was fair but not cheap, but who wants cheap? I want it done quick and correctly and they did. i will definitely call again.

We have used Roto-Rooter in the past and we have always been extremely pleased. This time we needed our kitchen faucet removed and replaced with the new faucet that I had purchased from Amazon. I went online to schedule the appointment. This was very quick and easy. The technician was right on time friendly and knowledgeable. He completed the job quickly, showed me how to use it and offered tips about how to clean. He took all the trash (boxes, old faucet, etc.). It was a great experience! My one and only complaint was that I felt the price was high. But I'm sure it's comparable to other plumbers in the area and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Just shows that I shoukd have been a plumber and not a teacher!! Thank you Roto-Rooter!

As soon as they left, we discovered the 2 toilets in the ladies room were still running (leaking water) into the toilet bowl, then flushing themselves.  This told us that the guys did not even wait and check the toilets before they left.  We called them back and they returned the next day to correct the problem.  They were in and out in a few minutes and again, when we went in the restroom, the toilets were  doing the same thing.  They were called again and we were told they would return the next day but they never showed up.  I called the next day to see why they did not show up or call.  They had no explanation.  They sent someone else out that day.  He spent more time trying to correct the problem.  He did stay and try to make sure everything was fixed.  However, a while after he left, the toilets flushed themselves again.  We decided to just wait a while because we do not want to deal with them anymore.

We had a clogged pipeline that Eddie detected and snaked clear from outside vs from inside , which reqiured removing our commode. Previous plumbers wanted to charge almost double ,plus run the risk of damaging our tiling.

Called on Saturday afternoon around 3 pm, they put me in contact with he technician. he showed up promptly and offer me a solution for the problem.  They were very responsive and did the job right by eliminating all the roots in the sewage line.

.The installation went well, it just that they lied to me about the refund by the government.  They sold me one that was not on the list.

They were very good and their price too was fairly reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

It went very well.  They were able to come out the same day and completed the job within 2 hours.  Very professional and courteous.

I have used this company two different times. I was happy with them the first time I used them but not the second time. On the second visit the crew was on time to the job and ready to work. While the crew was out working on the job they told me that it would cost an extra $500.00 to get the job done because they needed to excavate part of my yard. I told them I didn’t want to do that and had another company come out. They looked at it the problem and told me their was no reason the excavate the yard. They finished the work in thirty minutes. I was finally contacted by management and they bent over backwards to try and write the wrong that was done. I feel that it was very sincere in their intentions and that they were finally looking out for my best interest. After our conversation, I would consider using them again. I would use them again knowing that I do have an avenue with them as far as addressing any concerns that I wasn't aware of initially.

It was a very good experience. Roto Rooter had to special order the interior valve guts from Kohler so there was a one week delay getting the part but it was a good experience. They fixed the problem and the shower is working and I am very happy. Bill the technician was courteous, timely, and professional.

They seemed rushed while they were here. I thought they were very over-priced.

They were quick and responsive, but they did try to sell me additional things that weren't needed.
