It started out fine but the further we got into the project the worse things got. The job started Sept.2017 and to date, March 20,2018, he still hasn't completed the job.He was paid$2000.00 to install a metal roof on a sun room .The material was so badly handled that it can't even be used to repair his shoddy work He had one reason after another why he couldn't get back to correct the problems he left until he just stopped responding to my text. It's costing me $1800.00 to have the roof installed as per manufacturers instructions rather than with every shortcut that can be found. The painting that he did still has white spots that he had to go back and spackle but never went back and painted. The sheet rock work he did is already cracked. He is a fast talking con man.I know of others that he has done the same way.He depends on people not reporting him, but I will file the complaint on every web site that I can to alert the public to his hustle. We paid him $900.00 to recaulk windows and they look like a child did it with playdoh. The roof has to be replaced. The caulking has to be redone. The painting has to be finished. He knocked one of my ceiling fans out of balance so badly that I can't even use it on low. stay away from ROGER SAMMONS!

I was preparing my home to be put on the market and needed some minor repairs in the hall and master baths. The Job took much longer than promised and towards the end Roger became more difficult to contact, stopped returning calls for days at times, and didn't show up to do the work when promised. The price quoted for the work kept changing. ALL the plumbing work was horrible! The day he said the job was completed, I turned on the shower, and water went streaming down the wall where the shower head attached. He came back later to fix it, and blamed it on a plumber he had do the work! I was never told anyone other than he and his assistant would be involved. To this day, the hot and cold faucets are reversed! Also, the shower head pipe was loose and wobbly, and not secured to the inside wall as I had asked. The floor tiling job was also horrible. I have no experience and feel I could have done as well a job. After the job was completed, I had to call him back to repair one of the tiles that was significantly CRACKED! I feel a professional would take more pride and inspect their work. He did come back and replace the tile, however the grouting around that particular tile is darker than the rest and the tile is not level with the others. Also, the leftover grout or drywall from their job was dumped out in my yard on my tree! Roger is a nice enough guy and I believe he has good intentions, however his workmanship is just not high quality, nor does it meet professional standards. I'm sorry; Would not recommend.

They were very good at staying in touch and working within my schedule. Gentleman arrived at 8 am and was done by 9:30. Hole fixed and a beautiful job of mudding. Can't tell a hole was ever there.

They came in tree, but just two really worked. I need to pay for 3 when just 2 people really worked. They charged way more that it should cost. Overall I didn't like it.

He was very much disorganized.  He just didn’t have what he needed and he didn’t measure.  He had to keep doing things which he did.  He kept working till things were fine.  But that was not what I expected.  The quality of his work was good.

They were punctual and professional. They stand behind their work. When installing the hardware one of the cabinet drawers they miss measured and the hardware was offset.  They tassumed full responsibility, ook the drawer and had the holes fix and refinished.  It is impossible to tell where the wrongly drilled holes were.

They also re-grouted my tile flooring in the kitchen, which I probably shouldn't have had them do, since the work didn’t turn out as well as I wanted it to. It was a terrible mess to clean up. They did do a good job with the work I intended them to do, but I should’ve gotten a professional to do the tile work.

We bought the flooring and had it at the house. We hired Mr. Small Jobs to rip out the old carpet and lay the new floors. We purchased an Angies list Big Deal for $99.00 for 100 sq ft. He and his partner did an amazing job! The floors are perfect and he did a great job making sure the new hardwoods went seamlessly into the old hardwoods. The only thing to be aware of is that he had to rent the equipment and I had to pay for it. I was not aware of this until he arrived here. It was just a small communication issue. Other than that I found him to do excellent work and would hire him again.

I hired Roger and one of his guys to come and paint the ceilings in my house.  It was clear that while they were good guys and most likely very good handy men, they defiantly were not painters.  Here are a few of my concerns....
To start with they showed up over an hour after they said they would be there. Then that afternoon they planned on leaving early, but I questioned him reminding him that I paid for 8 hours, so he stayed longer.
Shortly after they started, there was a large crash that happened when they dropped my ceiling fan from the ceiling, busting the globe.  They never said anything about it until I asked about it, but they were willing to replace the globe and did.
Overall, they put paint in 8 rooms, but only 1 of those is done now.  I wish they would of focused on a few rooms and got those done as opposed to doing a half way job on just a few.  So now I have a house thats in worse shape then when they came.
Paint was everywhere!  I had paint on over 10 pieces of nice wood furniture.  Also on some of my wood furniture were boot marks where they stepped on it without covering it. I?m even still finding paint on my children?s toys!
Also, a very large scratch was on the dresser in my sons room.  Not a scratch that will be able to be buffed out or anything, but will always be a memory of this disastrous day.
My wife and I spent two hours cleaning up the mess they left.  It doesn?t speak too well that the customer is left to do all the clean up.
I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for.  Of course hiring two painters for the day for only $500 is a great deal, but not at the expense of having your house left looking like a construction zone with paint everywhere and damaged furniture.  On top of that I texted him and asked him for his email address to express my concerns, an he sent me two email addresses, both of which were wrong and the emails were returned.  I guess he was not interested in hearing from me.

Workers showed up to the job without their own transportation and had no means of transporting materials back to the jobsite.  Expected all materials to be on-site but provided no instruction or list of materials that would be required.  Deck craftsmanship is poor but the job was completed.  Ceiling was removed and new drywall installed, but work was very slow, craftsmanship poor and couldn't be completed in the agreed upon time.  Chose not to pay more for them to complete the obviously poor job.  Finally, they left the job-site dirty and reportedly criticized me to other contractors on-site.  Would NEVER use them again, you get what you pay for.

Mr. Roger Sammons and his company the tiny toolbox, llc did excellent work. Roger communicates very well and is very good about letting me know where we are at all times. He was right on time and his crew worked diligently, in fact the first day they worked from 8am-10pm non stop. His cuts are very precise and his suggestions for layout were spot on. The floors looks excellent, and believe strongly is going to help the resale value of our home.

Roger left a flyer on our porch with an estimate. I called and the work was completed in a couple of days. He responded promptly to requests and did good work. I am going to have him replace the crown on my slate roof in the spring. Also, he didn't make my girlfriend feel like a ''dumb girl'' when he came out to look at the house, unlike another contractor I found through Angie's list. I recommend Roger highly for roof and gutter repairs!
