AN ENTERPRISE TECHNICIAN CAME OUT OVER A MONTH AGO AND AFTER EXAMINING OUR MICROWAVE, SAID THAT HE NEEDED TO ORDER A PART. WE WAITED WITHOUT HEARING FROM THEM FOR TWO WEEKS, AND THEN HE FINALLY RETURNED AND REPLACED THE PART. YESTERDAY OUR MICROWAVE BEGAN SMOKING FROM THE INSIDE WHILE I HEATED WATER IN IT. A DIFFERENT COMPANY CAME OUT TODAY AND SAID THAT IT APPEARS ENTERPRISE USED A PART NOT AUTHORIZED FOR OUR MICROWAVE, ONE THAT ALONE WOULD HAVE CAUSED OUR MICROWAVE TO PHYSICALLY BLOW UP DUE TO THE POSITION OF THE WIRING! TO KEEP IT FROM BLOWING UP, THE ENTERPRISE TECHNICIAN HAD PUT A FLIMSY PIECE OF CARDBOARD BETWEEN THE WIRES, WHICH IS WHAT CAUGHT ON FIRE AND CAUSED THE SMOKING. FORTUNATELY THE TECHNICIAN TODAY SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING, AND THE MICROWAVE IS NOW BEING REPLACED AT A COST OF AROUND $400. I WAS NOT ONLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED, BUT BELIEVE THAT THE COMPANY PUT US AT RISK BY USING A PART NOT INTENDED FOR OUR MICROWAVE.

"I have no knowledge of this customer nor could i find them in our old records. I have serviced appliance for 28 years and have never put a piece of cardboard in an electrical appliance. I have also done work for all sorts of home warranty companies that use all sorts of different servicers. The chance it was done by us is small."
