Pre-wiring was okay, no issues. The cat5 was done but it wasn't useful. What they do is wire for phone and leave the jacks as network connections. What I wanted was the whole house cat5 and upon plugin in the cable modem it did not work. I had to put in a switch in order to make it work.

"We provided his network wiring not his network equipment. Customer provides own equipment unless it is agreed upon that we provide the equipment."
