When my 17 year old HVAC broke down, I started shopping for a new one and got 5 quotes. Carolina Refrigeration quoted me the lowest price, best and most efficient (19 Seer) system. The offer was almost too good to be true. I did my research, but couldn't find anything speaking against it. So, I went with Carolina Refrigeration. The system was installed in April 2020 (5 months ago). The crew worked fast and did a nice install. A few days in I got error messages from the system. When I called Carolina Refrigeration about it, they reacted prompt, analyzed the issues and even brought the manufacturer of the system on site. it turned out that it was an issue with a grommet which was not installed correctly by the manufacturer. The issues were resolved and the system was running the past 5 months without any problems and soooo efficient. Some people might see this as a negative experience, but I give Carolina Refrigeration 5 stars, because for me it's about service and their great price / performance ratio.

The electrician that they recommended for the wiring were very nice guys but could have been a little cleaner in their job approach. Made a extra hole that caused extra work and forgot to label the circuit which meant the city inspector had to make another trip. Again very nice guys but things could have been a little tighter. Also just an additional comment that in the quote and discussion it wasn't clear to us that we had to get an external electrician and that was separate. The project was on time and we are happy with the unit they installed.

My home never had a HVAC system in before. I reached out to them for a quote and it was done in a timely manner. I had four companies to come in to provide quotes and they provided the most reasonable quote for the size of my house. They came out when they said they were going to come out. Great job!

A/C blew ... called them after hours and they came next morning. Diagnosed the issue immediately. Job done fast! Tech was professional and courteous.

Trevor, Billy, Trent and Johnny were all friendly and professional. Billy and Trent installed a Trane condenser and air handler. It was a pleasure the see them hard at work and even more of a pleasure just to talk with them. When it comes to price, they blew the other estimates I got, out of the water. As much as a $1000. The whole experience was fantastic. Trevor gave me an estimate on what I needed and didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't want. He was a straight shooter. Trevor , crew, and office staff all did a great job. Trevor came to my house and advised me on what would be best , sent me a quote later that evening. His quote for replacing the 30 year old duct work and our package unit was great. Give them a call for your heating/ac needs. Outside yard was wet and nasty from all the rain we have had and his crew never complained. Me and my wife felt good about the quote Trevor gave us and he was not trying to up sale any product/service that we did not need. Thank you for great service.

Excellent work, they removed all equipment and made no mess. On time and professional. The only thing I can say is I had to ask the tech installer to walk me through there install and explain what they did as a whole before they left. I think if I hadn t they just would have left. But they are top notch in every way. Highly recommend and they have a new costumer for life. Hard to find quality company that delivers. This company delivers on all cylinders.
