"Thank you [Member Name Removed]. The job turned out beautiful and so glad to hear your enjoying the pool. Thank you and we look forward to working with you on other projects in the future!"
"We approached this job with a differing solution than other contractors. The customer had a spa that had been repaired several times yet leaked and looked bad. Instead of repairing again we gave them an option for a bench and fire pit area - converting the damaged spa into a useable and enjoyable space. Which we accomplished. As for the decking. When the customer was un-happy we reduced the cost and re-did the work at no cost to the customer. We were contracted to psi the entire deck and to pick up and level 100 sq ft of decking which was badly sunken from lack of maintenance over the years. In turn we actually picked up and leveled over 300 sq ft of decking at no charge to the customer. We did have an issue with the initial sanding of the decking. My crew was a bit sloppy in the application however we came out and re-pressure washed the entire deck removing the original sanding and redid the work again at no charge. Furthermore we instructed the customer at color selection that we use polymeric sand and it does fill the voids in the travertine, we could use regular sand but it will wash away quickly and require constant maintenance. They chose to use the polymeric sand. The customer complained again about uneven pavers and a sandy deck so we came out for the third time, lightly acid cleaned the decking, wire brushing and leveling out all areas for the third time again at no charge. The uneven areas were areas that were not initially touched by us, and two paver tiles that came loose around the coping, which we fixed. We too contacted our supplier of the products and questioned if we had done something wrong and were assured by the manufacturers rep and our suppliers that there was noting in the products we used to create this staining. Rather it was a product of time and weathering of the decking. After three attempts and discussions with my suppliers I could no longer continue to work on the decking and feel we went above and beyond to try to correct a problem that we did not make. The job came out beautiful and as you can see the customer was very happy with our solution and execution of the pool but somehow felt we dropped the ball on the decking of which we came out on three separate occasions to try and correct a problem of old weathered pavers that were stained. I instructed the customer that I personally worked on the decking the third time and there was nothing more we could achieve with the age and condition of the decking and suggested that the entire deck needed to be lifted and the base compacted. The customer in turn told me that they did not want to do that work. Everyone does make mistakes from time to time and we did correct the issue going above and beyond to try to please this customer."

I received this company's information from a friend, who contracted Scott. From day one of our meeting and scope of work to be performed, I noted his thoroughness, punctuality, professionalism, and expertise. He didn't just TALK to me, or throw out his "pitch" , he explained everything in detail, made suggestions, and "the reasons, and why's", of the aforementioned. The work was performed as per the contract, in a very timely manner. I was always kept abreast of the progress and scheduling. Workmanship was excellent, and above all, they cleaned the area as if nothing occurred. I would not hesitate to use Carolina Pool Renovations again.

"Thank you [Member Name Removed] - it was great working with customers like you and Geir!"
"Thank you again! We loved working with you both! Enjoy your pool!"
Since the pool repair (two years ago) I have on occasion texted him a general question about my pool and he still responds promptly offering detailed answers and advice when needed. Recently I had an issue and we shared text over multiple days across a week as he gave me trouble shooting ideas. I eventually solved the issue thanks to his help. People like Scott are hard to find. I strongly recommend him for pool repair or new pool installations.
