Although Fairrington Concrete had not done the foundation preparation in advance of pouring and stamping a large patio (another contractor that had constructed the retaining wall and stone work had agreed to do this for Fairrington), James agreed to come back and break up a 25' by 10' section, remove and dispose of it, and pour and stamp new concrete in it's place. Over 4 working days requiring six workers (on and off) the finished product matched perfectly with the rest of the patio. His expert in concrete stamping, Kevin Brown, is a true artist. My $900 contribution towards this repair represented the portion that was never paid by the other contractor that failed to compact the base foundation.
Bottom line: James Fairrington stands behind his work and will do his best to come back and make repairs on work that later requires some repairs. I highly recommend him for concrete and stamped concrete work.

The provider removed a small slab out behind the house. He had to cancel the first time but called and rescheduled. He always communicated as to his arrival etc. The concrete was hauled away and he leveled the area where it had been.

Front porch has a brick border. No tape was placed to protect the brick or the house from concrete or paint splatter. Biggest problem was the quality of the color they placed: shoe prints left in the concrete, overspray of the color into adjacent tiles, and one section of the porch (about 12 feet) that they forgot to add color to. Many promises from James Fairrington about fixing it, but 5 months later, and nothing has been done except to paint the bottom portion of the house to cover the concrete and color splatter.

Response from Fairrington Concrete LLC
"As with all construction, there will be issues and problems. With decorative concrete, repairs can be timely and determined by weather patterns. As in this case, there were issues with the final result. We did go back, but were unable to completely resolve all issues, some minor and some more involved. We scheduled the repairs, but the weather wasn't cooperating, so after a few weeks, we lost track. Here we are."

All work was completed on time and exactly as quoted. James kept us informed through entire project when another contractor was delayed for several weeks due to rain/weather. He worked closely with retaining wall / landscaping contractor to provide excellent finished product. We were very pleased with his work.

The crew arrived when scheduled with enough personnel to do the job. After the area for the work was shoveled out, and checked for soft areas (to prevent cracking.) The forms were set and the concrete was  poured and finished. The crew cleaned up the excess dirt and put it where I asked them to. Two of his employees returned the following day and removed the forms.
We have parked a mid-sized SUV on the pad and the walk is exactly the right height where it abuts the entrance door sill. There are no cracks in the concrete. We are very pleased w/ their work and would hire them again.
