"Thank you Michele for your kind words in your 5 star review. I told myself when I first started either I would do a home inspection I could be proud of or not at all. In this busy world we are all so busy that reviews often get over looked. Thank you for taking the time for yours. I am surprised by how many home inspections are only about 45 minutes long. Many claim to do a home inspection in 1 hour & 45 minutes. Others claim 2 hours. Most inspectors are trying to do 3 to 5 homes in a day this does not give much time for quality and being thorough. I concentrate on quality at a reasonable price with some advance technology. I do 3 houses a week. The minimum LLR standards are not as thorough as you might think they should be. I try not to take any more time than necessary but I do my best to go beyond the minimum standards as long as it doesn't take to long and safe to do so. I do not mean to put down my industry but I have even come across inspectors that don't know the difference between a heat pump & a furnace. When you have a new home built a Pre-Drywall Home Inspection can be critical to do which many don't know about or say its not that important. During this process you can discover lots of deficiencies which can include light coming through walls and ceilings, ( WHICH CAN MEAN HIGHER ELECTRICAL BILLS AND OTHER DEFICIENCIES), roofing issues, incorrect insulation procedures in walls and other concerns. I was glad we were able to point out the concerns to your builder. Once the drywall is up who knows what can be covered up. Thank you for using us again for your completed home inspection. Since I knew of the pre-drywall concerns in addition to what a through home inspection is suppose to be about I knew to use my Flir Infrared Camera in those areas to make sure those concerns were corrected.
