Sadly, I believe the job ended up being too much for Mr. Linde. I feel like he did not know how to properly bid for the job we needed his company to do, therefore the amount of time and the amount of supplies needed to complete our job was grossly underestimated which resulted in overcharging us. To make a long review short, Mr. Linde more than doubled his original fee without any amendments to contract until we requested a meeting. During the meeting he provided us with copies of his amendments that we never knew existed.. Although we did not agree with his request for more than double the original fee, we ended up paying him. He ended up placing a lien on our home after we paid him for everything but the amount it will take to completely re-do the 4 permanent benches he did not install properly. We made our request VERY CLEAR to visually approve the placement of pavers for benches BEFORE they were permanently concreted into place.Mr. Linde did not respect our formal request and they will have to be removed and re-installed properly. The project took way too long to complete.

Steve Linde supervises his own crew, not guys hired for the day. They are trained, well-paid, well-trained. His prices are competitive and he is always on the job with his crew. He is a trained horticulturist; his advice is sound. He enjoys a universally excellent reputation in a highly competitive field. And he is rehired by those with whom he has worked. Highly recommended.

He had one other person assisting him. They were very organised. After he finished everything looked beautiful. However, it took longer than it should have taken to complete the work. The good thing is it came out exactly like I had designed it. He did a very good job and it looks like an English garden.
