I recently hired Robert to paint my kitchen cabinets. They were wood tone laminate cabinets and I wanted them to be painted white. Robert and his team were great. Very professional, excellent work and I felt comfortable having them in my house while I was at work. The cabinets turned out great and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely hire Robert again.

His guys painted on a rainy day so the new paint bubbled up on one side and I had them come back one time to fix it. They fixed it but it took me month to get them to do that and continuing to do it. They came out and fixed it, but it continues to do it. I wasn't there, but I pretty sure they scrape the old paint off, but I am not 100 percent sure. He is always real professional and stuff, but once you make that mistake, it's hard to correct. He never followed up to say "Hey, there's more bubbles." A lot of money for it to be wrong. They didn't charge me, but I had to chase him down over and over. He's great, a very nice guy, but good painters are in high demand. He is normally a good painter. He is always very professional.

His guys painted on a rainy day, so it bubbled up. All the new paint bubbled up on one side. I had them come back one time to finish it/fix it. They came back and fixed it but it took me a month to get them to do that. It’s continuing to do it. They corrected the spots that were there, it’s just the issue is when you paint and there is moisture underneath eventually when that moisture heats up, because it’s trapped, under latex paint. It’s exterior paint, it’s meant to be waterproof – but it’s waterproof in both directions, not just on the outside. So it’s trapped that moisture. So when that moisture finally heats up in the summer or whenever it gets hot enough, it expands, it creates steam, and it creates bubbles in your paint – like sometimes large, like 3” diameter bubbles. He came out to fix it once, but it continues to happen. They knew not to do it. It took him a month to come fix it that time. I’m not sure he’s going to come back now. I’ve used him on other projects before, but it was not a real good experience this time. With that much money involved I wouldn’t use him again. I wasn’t there, I’m certain that they scraped it, but I wasn’t there to watch, so I’m not 100% sure. He’s always real professional and stuff, it’s just once you make that mistake, it’s hard to correct. He’s never followed up to say “hey are there any more bubbles?”. It was a lot of money for it to be wrong. They fixed what was visible at that point, but it took me a long time to get them to do that, and it’s still not completely fixed. It was fixed as of when they left, but then it happened again, because there is still just moisture trapped underneath. That’s why you don’t paint when it’s raining. I don’t think there is any way they scraped it down to the original paint, or to the original wood and then repainted the whole thing. I think they just popped the bubbles and scraped it all off and then repainted over that area. Which works, it fixes it for that particular water spot, but if there are other places, it’s going to keep happening everywhere else. I’m probably going to have to pay somebody to correct it. They didn’t charge me, but I had to chase him down. He’s great. He’s a very nice guy, but I think good painters are just in such high demand. He’s normally a great painter, but he just fumbled on this one.

Mr. Elliott was aware of a deadline I was up against and was saw that the task was not only completed, but was done ahead of time. The painters were extremely personable and mannerly. They also did a tremendous job cleaning up, which helped tremendously. I am totally satisfied with the job, and I love the way my bathroom looks now.

I contacted Robert Elliott as soon as I closed on my townhouse. I had only three weeks to renovate until I planned to move in. Robert came out the following day and quoted a price for all the painting. Two weeks later when the flooring and other work had been completed, Robert's crew came in and began work. True to his word, Robert completed quality work on time and in a professional manner. I was impressed at the long hours the men worked in order to meet my timeline. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the work that was done and the reliability of the workers.
