One of the kittens someone left on my doorstep. So, you want to start zeroed out and know they aren't carrying anything that could kill your other cats or are not infections. That is like a baseline. I had a cat that had feline leukemia and it's not a good way to lose an animal. That's not a cheap disease either. It takes a lot of care and a lot of hospitalization and then you end up losing the animal anyway because it's fatal.
It wasn't just one shot for the kittens, they got their whole first batch of baby shots.
I really like them but there are things about them that I don't like. I don't like that they are only open until 5:00 and that at 4:50 they lock the door.  I've had an instance where I had an emergency and we got there right at the nick of 5:00 and they didn't answer the door and didn't let us in and we had to drive all the way to Greenville, 5:00 rush hour having to go to the heart of town. I really, I hate their hours. I like the vet.
I will continue to use them. Not only are they 3 minutes from my house but Dr. Burton is an amazing vet. Animals love him. He's kind, he's really gentle with them. He's not rough, they aren't afraid of him.  He's just amazing with them.
They are a full service vet in the sense that they never sent me somewhere else to get something done. They can do everything in house. It's not like they're going to send you to a surgeon or send you here or there. I like that too.
They are only open a half a day on Saturday. They want to do everything by appointments. So if you go in there as a walk in, they give you this whole spiel about you're gonna have to wait, they aren't sure you're going to be seen, you might have to take your animal to the emergency vet. We've actually had words about that. I was like, I sat here for 2 hours and now you tell me I've got to go to the emergency vet? And I'm here on an emergency? I'm not leaving.

My experience is good. They are great. I have been using them for about 4 years now. They are really good. They are very caring and the doctor calls me back.

We are fixtures there for twice a week.  We've got a cat that is nineteen years which liver failure and I have to take her twice a week.  They are putting in fluids to help her kidney.  Everything stands out about them.  They are so nice, kind and warm.  They are professional.  Every doctor there is amazing.  They truly care about animals.  They call us to check on us and they call us back on the animals so they truly care.  Doctors don't even call their patients but these vets call their patients.  I'm going back this Friday.  They had a cat that had cancer and they were amazing.  When we had to put him down, they went above and beyond for that too.  They sent us cards and checked on us.

We absolutely love this animal hospital. They love the animals and the animals are their top priority. I specifically point out Dr. Holtzclaw for his service. The prices are very reasonable and I will use them again in the future.
