Justus is awesome. I had another bid, but so happy I chose Justus to do the work. He did an awesome job. His crews were on time and very capable of doing the work. Justus did some of the work himself and did an excellent job. He was on the job daily to ensure all crews were here and to handle any situations that may occur. He is easy to communicate with, returns calls and text in a timely manner. He is very pleasant and I can’t say enough good things about him. This job took about 10 weeks total so I really got to know Justus very well and enjoyed our discussions and respected his advice. I would definitely hire him for any other work I may need in the future and highly recommend him. We had already hired Justus, Winyah Construction, for the job mentioned above when my husband had an accident and fractured his hip. So before Justus started the big job, I called him to see if he could renovate my other bathroom taking out the huge garden tub and put in a walk-in shower, put a 30” door and new floor on the bedroom across the hall from that bathroom. I knew our master bedroom was going to be tore up for weeks and my husband who is a totally disabled vet would need to use that bedroom and bathroom once released from the hospital. He was on it immediately and had it completed in plenty time for my husband to use it. Then within a week he started the big job we had hired him for initially. All excellent work done on time.

Justus is a very professional contractor who is multi-talented. We showed him a photo of what we wanted our porch to look like and he was able to draw up the plans and build it perfectly. He is a great communicator who explains everything and follows up promptly. He was so good that my parents hired him to do the extension on their house and the work he did there was equally as amazing!

We have not been happy with previous contractors. We joined Angie’s List in hopes of finding a contractor that would do a really good job on this project dealing with our dining room, living room and kitchen. We had another contractor quote this job, with an estimate of $1,000* more than Winyah Construction. He didn’t take any notes or measurements, had to come out several times and was not on time and his estimate included things we specifically told him we did not want to have done. Then we called Winyah Construction and Justus. We were very impressed with his work and how he handled this whole project. Justus came out in a timely manner, showed up on time, took meticulous notes and measurements and gave us a quote quickly with a clear description of the work to be performed. We made some changes to the original plan and the communication was great either by phone or email. Throughout the project he told us when he was coming and what he would be doing each day. When he left at the end of the day, he always cleaned up and removed all debris. We would definitely recommend Winyah Construction. We have already discussed with Justus our next project.

Great communication. Justus was very upfront and honest about the work he could do. Crew showed up on time and the work was completed as promised. Overall excellent value for the quality of work, and I would definitely recommend Winyah Construction.

He does a great job. He does remodeling and builds additions. He has done additions for our neighbors and they are very happy. He's just a nice guy and does wonderful work. He is polite, courteous, and always shows up on time.
