THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE (AND MY SPOUSES'). HAD A HOME BUILT ON THE TENTH TEE OF THE OLD CAROLINA GOLF COURSE ALSO BACKING UP TO THE COMPREHENSIVE GOLF PRACTICE FACILITY. FOR THIS WE PAID A $9000 LOT PREMIUM. THE NAME OF THE COMMUNITY IS TRADITIONS AT OLD CAROLINA (DIRECT TIE-IN TO THE GOLF COURSE IN ALL MARKETING). WEB SITE WAS AS MUCH ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE AS ABOUT THE GATED COMMUNITY AND THE HOMES. DR HORTON DID NOT OWN THE GOLF COURSE, HOWEVER, AND IT CLOSED IN TWO YEARS. TODAY IT HAS REOPENED AS A NINE HOLE COURSE. THE TENTH TEE AND PRACTICE FACILITY WE BOUGHT OUR HOME ADJACENT TO ARE BOTH GONE AND NOW APARTMENTS ARE BEING BUILT BEHIND US.
