If you want a sparkling waiting room (or any waiting room) with piping hot coffee, don't go here. If you want your car fixed right, ASAP, by an honest repairman and for an appropriate price, call Smith's. Be advised there is no sign outside. Just a lot of cars sitting wherever there is room. Also, they DO NOT TAKE CARDS!! Cash or checks only. I had to use a card to get cash. It was definitely worth it. They checked out both the front brakes and only fixed what was needed. He charged $90 for labor and the cost for parts was spot on. I dropped the car off at 10:30 and had it back by 5:00. I chatted with a parts delivery man and he gave the garage a HUGE thumbs up.

Billy's Service Center installed new brakes on my 2009 Toyota Matrix at 86,000 miles. He was very professional, fast, and courteous, as well as very reasonably priced. While I was waiting for my car repairs, I observed several repeat customers, especially senior ones, stopping in to set up appointments for future car work; this, I thought, was a good sign of a reputable mechanic. Another good sign was the fact that Billy accepts personal checks and no credit cards! The location of his garage was a little difficult to find because it has no street number, just a street address. There is no big sign for his garage either; just look for an old garage with a lot of cars on it. Billy's garage is a trip back in time to the car service stations of my youth...... Billy was professional, ethical, and much more affordable than those fancier and much more expensive service centers of today. I will definitely use Billy's Service Center for all of my future car repairs!

I noticed a and quot;knockingand quot; sound coming from my engine, and every now and then the steering felt a bit and quot;tightand quot; when I made a turn. My dad owns a garage in Massachusetts, and being new to the area, I wanted to find a small garage that I could trust. I brought my car in to Smith's on Friday morning. After about 2 hours, he called and said the problem was my power steering pump (which is what my dad thought it probably was based on what I told him). I asked about how much he thought it would cost to fix, and was told between $350-$400. I gave the okay, and he said it would probably be done by around 3pm that day. I get a call around 2:45 saying it was finished, and asked what the total price was. He said $340.79. So not only did it cost less than the low-end of his estimate, but was also completed sooner than the time he gave me. I was very impressed that he didn't try to sell me other things like some places do (ie- and quot;well it's this, but you also need to have X, Y, and Z done tooand quot;). Billy Smith is an honest mechanic, and has become my new and quot;go-toand quot; guy for all my automotive needs!

On this occasion the brake rotors were damaged by worn brake pads. He finished his work in less than a half day of having my car. Have used this auto service provider for years and found Billy Smith to be honest, accomodating and provides a very good value.
