Our neighbor decided we needed it. Anything wounded or injured ends up here. Hey we are wounded, shelter me here. The cat is big, spoiled cat now. They did a good job. Anything that has to do with a stray, can be pricey. The lab work. Fleas, ear mites, ticks. He is a spoiled rotten thing. They are good. If they can't handle it, they recommend an emergency clinic. We always use them.

We have always had good care there. We dealing with them for several years. They are close.They deal with our shenanigans, with our cats. They are very good. They are very competitive with their prices, and shots, and everything. They are good with their shots. Because we have a multi cat household, they discount where they can. They are fine. Very average with what we have. They are good, when the cat does something stupid. I have one I have to hide the ribbon on. They love any type, no matter how well I hide it. They always find it. They do very well. Very caring. Very gentle with our cats. Dealt with fortunate events over the years. We have been dealing with them for years. There is a way to get our cats in.They can weasel them in unexpectedly. Very responsive. Extended hours, even have an Sunday hours. Very good to us. They call us, they have lab work done. Any issues, they are good with follow up. They are scheduled for an follow up.They are due for their rabies shots. They sent me a notice. They know the cats name. Hey this cat is due.

The way they treat my pet and treat me as a pert parent. They follow up and follow through.

Very nice . Over priced. Keep finding more and more to charge for . Refused to give prescription for medications for the dogs. Would only allow me to get medication through them .

I took my 9 year old, Great Dane to Animal Hospital of North Charleston promptly at 8 am (opening) after finding him unable to stand and lethargic. The technician was very polite and calm, but turned me away stating they "did not have any openings" and the doctor was not due in until 9 am. They referred me to a location in West Ashely instead of the next closest place (Sweetwater Vet on Dorchester).

I want to preface my complaint by saying I am a big-time animal lover and a very responsible pet owner. My pets are my children and want for nothing. I spend a ridiculous amount of money ordering their favorite bones from PetSmart. Not only do they love their bones, I feel they aid in tartar build up.

I've lived in my area less than a year and chose to take my two dachshunds to The Animal Hospital at 8389 Dorchester Rd because it was a five minute drive from my apt. My first visit was on 3-8-14. I adopted the younger dachshund (6 ms old) from a rescue center on 1-25-14. I was told he needed a second set of injections in one month. It took me 6 weeks to get him to the vet because I'd recently undergone knee surgery and had to use crutches here and there. I noticed tapeworms in his stool, and immediately made an appt with this provider.

The bill was $588.57. I did not balk at the amount because it was not only an annual visit, meaning vaccinations, intestinal parasite and heartworm screenings, both dogs were treated for tapeworms, and, as I mentioned, one had an ear infection. I also purchased a 6-month supply--per dog--of flea and heartworm preventative at a total cost of $246.36. The and quot;Wellness Examand quot; was $40 per dog.

Here's why I'm annoyed. I'm accustomed to vets giving me a and quot;multiple pet discount:and quot; That did not happen. As I mentioned above, I was charged $30 for a second exam. I was told my 2 year-old dachshund had a tartar problem. Really? That's odd because he has gorgeous teeth thanks to all the specialty bones I buy.

I was given literature that, in my opinion, was designed to make pet owners feel irresponsible if they did not see to their pet's dental needs. Sadly, I've not been able to address my own dental needs for more than three years so my pet is going to have to wait a while before he gets his teeth cleaned.

Perhaps I over-reacted as all of this came on the heels of my knee surgery and other health problems. I am fortunate to have good healthcare insurance, but in less than two months I've paid about $3,000 out-of-pocket. So, a $700 vet bill was the last thing I needed. While I can't say for certain that I will not use this vet in the future, I will likely and quot;ask aroundand quot; and see if I can find a cheaper provider.

I needed my husband to go with me because I was taking two dogs in, they are open on the weekend and that's very convenient. It's very convenient to find a vet that has weekend hours. They are three minutes from my apartment, that was great. It's important to get things close to me.

They were very good and very nice.

They have very good boarding and pet service.

Thought they were caring and gentle while being thorough.
