Sunray Flooring Co. is the premier flooring contractor in the Charleston area. We are certified with the National Wood Flooring Association in sand and finish and in hardwood installation. We are also certified tile installers through the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation. We are members of the National Wood Flooring Association and the National Tile Contractors Association. Sunray Flooring Co. and its employees are trained in Bona sand and finish techniques, the Schluter method of shower and tile installation, and the Ardex floor leveling and moisture control systems. We pride ourselves in our prompt, courteous service, and we settle for nothing less than the highest quality craftsmanship.

The second time we used Sun-Ray was when we moved into a new house. We had them remove old carpet in a FROG (finished room over a garage) and replace it with new carpet. Once they began the demo of the old carpet we discovered that there were some great looking treads on the steps leading up to the FROG that had been carpeted over. They replaced all of the carpet in the FROG, including removing the old pad and installing a new carpet pad. We ended up deciding to refinish the treads on the stairs leading up to the FROG. I wasn't initially planning on doing this, but once I saw the wood on the treads I knew that we couldn't carpet back over the stairs, we needed to let the hardwood show. After getting his wood flooring crew over to the house we had new treads that matched exactly the color of the stain on the hand railing and the banister. Matching existing stains is a challenge to put it mildly and the guys at Sun-Ray were able to do it no once but TWICE!!!
The workers at Sun-Ray always showed up on time, called ahead to make sure it was still okay that they come by and they always cleaned up after themselves. They are true professionals from the top of the organization to the bottom of the organization. Their prices are more than fair and given the quality of work they do. If you have a flooring job or even a tile job of any kind you need to call the guys at Sun-Ray Flooring. We're going to re-tile a bathroom in the near future and I am not calling anyone other than Justin at Sun-Ray. Give them a call you won't be disappointed.
