Maids of Charleston

This was the first time I had ever hired anyone to do any cleaning in my house. I'm 69 and I have always done it myself. But I had company coming and there were some things that needed to be done that I just don't like to do! The girl who came was VERY nice. The other person who was supposed to come never showed up. I went out to work in the yard. When she came out after just under three hours and said she had done everything on my list by herself ( and I had added a few extra things to the list just in case the TWO workers finished early), I knew it had not been a good job. After she left, I checked around to see what had been done. One of the main things to do was to clean the ceiling fans and lights.....and other light fixtures such as the one that hangs in the hallway and the one in the kitchen. I asked if she could do those and she said YES!! In order to clean them, you have to take the pieces down and wash them! I could not tell that she had touched any part of the fixtures. One still had the cobweb hanging from it. After she left, I cleaned the one in the hall way and the one in the kitchen. Just those two took me over an hour. I know that she dusted some shutters, but I have found some areas that were not dusted. That didn't help me very much since I then had to go back and dust everything to make sure I got the ones she missed. I thought she might do a better job than I do cleaning shower doors and grout in my bathroom, but while the job was ok, it wasn't any better than I do. Maybe my expectations were too high. But I guess I'll just continue to do it all myself!

I was initially disappointed with the first cleaning, since there were some things that were not done. I spoke with the owner and was told that they wanted me to be satisfied and it was not the usual team due to unforeseen circumstances. I tried them again and left a list of what was not done the first time and was very satisfied. It takes time to learn what a client wants, and I was glad that I gave them a second chance.

The maids arrived went right to work, cleaned floors and windows spotlessly were in the house approximately 2 hours and the results pleased everyone.

I really liked their work.

I usually do not complain but the more I looked around after they left I was really disappointed.  My bathroom and kitchen floors were still dirty.  Leaves from a plant were still on the floor. Some things were not dusted.  I had back surgery but had to do my floors over.

Wonderful.

After Brenda and her crew finshed I truly thought my house looked and felt brand new!! Thanks
