"Betz it was a pleasure getting to paint your newly renovated home. I can't believe it's only been a year since we did your project! Thank you so much for the wonderful review! All of that drywall repair, wallpaper removal and installation and painting made your home look brand new and amazing!"
"This client's comments are off base and inaccurate. We entered into a commercial painting agreement on painting steps for a run down apartment community that was in dire need of a face lift (hence the need for painting). The client then asked if we knew anyone to do pressure washing, because their 3rd pressure washing company just quit (should have been a red flag). We explained that we do pressure washing as a prep for painting and they requested the service. This client agreed to the financial terms and payment schedule of the commercial agreement. 2 weeks prior to our scheduled start date, the client called demanding that we begin pressure washing immediately, since they had "important investors" coming to view the place. After receiving a very insistent (threatening) phone call, we rearranged the pressure washing crew to accommodate their needs. They agreed to move up and follow the pay schedule, due to the size of the job. We began the work 2 weeks ahead of schedule. The client did not have the first contractually agreed upon payment when they told us that they would. They kept saying that it was "an accounting error." Then they kept giving the runaround about the issue. Against our better judgement, we continued to make progress and finished pressure washing all buildings. At this point, the entire balance was due and we had yet to receive a single penny against the terms of the contract. We informed them that we could not move into any painting until the pressure washing work was paid for, as agreed on in the contract. They had more "accounting delays" and "waiting on my boss" excuses for weeks. They got angry when we told them we would not continue on with any work until the contract was followed. After weeks of waiting on their "accounting delays" and many unreturned calls from us on the issue, they then finally called us and informed us that one of the buildings looked dirty again and this was delaying the payment. Two weeks of solid driving rain can do that to the perimeter of a building. We called their bluff and sent out our top pressure washing crew to fix it at no cost and the crew re-pressure washed the buildings. We had their management inspect the buildings again and they agreed that they were very clean. At this point, they provided us a check for 50% of the pressure washing job and asked that we get started on the painting, which we declined, since our contractual agreement had not been followed by them. To date, they still have not paid their remaining balance as agreed upon in the contract. In the past 3 weeks, we were contacted by several other of their vendors that knew we were working on their apartment complex. These vendors explained that they were having severe problems getting paid for work that was completed. This was the final confirmation that we needed to avoid continuing on with providing any service to this company. After a quick internet search, we found that there are many reviews abo"
